You can sort by division ID, and as an example division 229 contains positions 100674 through 100176
I believe when you join and you're not in top500 it's bots (which explains why when you start you aren't even close to the top of the division even though your division consists of plrs who joined same time as you, so logically you'd expect to be jostling around the top spots at times)

current division ID for new joins is 431 - 11 (min division ID) = 420 * 500 = 210k players

Next time an event starts I'll track the displayed position wrt the api-returned position

Spreadsheets are a very useful tool in this particular event, given the multiple interlocking currencies. Even the most bruteforced timefluxed run can be be overcome with efficient min/maxed progression (especially if they are also using TFs) and proper 'division selection'... that, and no sleep, heh.
Though I would never use a TF for this particular event, because none of the 'wait' windows between upgrades actually reach to the 1hr mark while under the influence of x4 Darwinium, and thus portions of every TF would be wasted

Other than bragging rights, there's no advantage to placing #1 versus #10... it's the same reward for that whole bracket. I placed #1 in my division for the recent Bee event. After that, I don't need to worry about #1 in any event ever again 😆

I make my own for every event. Most of them are similar, so it's not much difficulty to just copy/paste to a new page and rename/update costs.

And, I've been doing it long enough that events are starting to repeat for me, so even more saved work.

Best advice, don't actually shoot for #1 in events. Just plug away keeping yourself in the top #10, eventually, you'll get lucky with division placement/start in a random future event and snag yourself the #1 spot all on your own without having to try too hard.

The real thing is prettier, but sometimes rather sensitive. I had an Amethyst lose it's colour almost entirely, a result of UV radiaton. And a Blue Vitriol crumbled to white dust as it was kept too warm and dry. Well, the discolouring of Blue Vitriol is reversible, the crystal is not that rare and can be grown quite easily (it is very toxic though). An Amethyst, however, is lost forever. Unless you can expose it to radioactive radiation (not sure which one).
