I can say you should only spend as many minerals on rock production as you have to for the research nodes -- no generator requires them.

If I'd played beta, I'd probably have known, but every event has had at least one generator available for purchase for each currency, unless my memory is playing tricks on me.

From what I've heard a lot of people are bothered by the pacing of this one? I've only taken part in the Extinction one long ago so I dunno...

I'm tryin a slightly different strategy on challenge level 2 to see if that helps. All events progress differently once you've gained badges, but the recent ones I've done without badges seemed to progress alright. This might just take a different way of thinking, but it's an odd one in my book.

Hopefully I'll have time to finish this challenge level. That will help me decide if it's just something requiring different strategy than most other events, or if the pacing is off.

Some days I spend more time than others on it, lol. My first event once I unlocked the exploration node was pollination. I only had time to earn the first badge, not finish.

it's tough to complete events the first time if you don't have any boosts, especially if you only play on Steam. It becomes significantly easier if you can play on mobile and watch free ads to get the 4x boost.

Once you get enough darwinium for dailies, I strongly advice you to spend some of it in boosting events. You can earn up to 48 darwinium in 2 weeks.

If you start events late, which is better without any badges, you won't need much to boost 4x.

constellation fragment missions are stand alone. You can make them go faster by boosting your mission speed, which is independent from the module's simulation speed.

The Gemini constellation will give you extra speed on all your missions, but only if you boost them. If you don't boost, then not so much

There are 3 null nodes in the reality engine map there - I believe they put them there to allow for other game activities.

The beyond is broken into two series (1 & 2). Series 1 is episodes 1-17 and came out in November of 2021. Series 2 is episodes 18+ and have been progressively released one episode at a time every couple months since July 2023
