If the maximum rate for clickint is 50/s then if my calculations are correct I get the bonus every 5 seconds / I get 313 per click, and the bonus needs 100 clicks. Bonus is 187,200 so I get 187,200+31,300=218,500/cycle. Compare that to 78,250/5sec from just clicking on the background for money event. So it's always worth it to get bonus if your production is high enough.

So, if you want to compete, you need to be active.
