Most are at 4. Usually, a new gen became available before I had enough cards for higher levels

But ranking up gens helps

And use the astronomy missions to get at least one or two free reds (white, if you are in series 2). Plus antimatter, IV and V are most effective

meso is only somewhat difficult once, then it's just a grind of spending 1 full day on each prestige because of how long it is. it's not hard, it's just long

Think of it like this

At the start, buying a generator or a research makes a big difference in the amount you earn, right?

Because the cost is exponentially growing, and the generators don't get better with consecutive purchases (AKA Beyond) you get something called "diminished returns"

That is to say buying 1 for 1000 and getting 10 more per second is better than the next purchase of 1120 (because the expo is I believe x1.12) still only giving you 10 more

So, because of the exponential factor, after roughly 10 purchases you've more than quadrupled your wait time for the same increase in income

But

The floaties are constant

They never change in spawn rate

So once you've reached a point where you feasibly don't get any more income, just buy cheapest and wait for floaties

and from then, I think every event can be done without boosting, maybe even the Outbreaks one.

There's always the option of starting the event late if you know you could finish it in a short amount of time. Better chance of getting higher rewards as well since the lower divisions are generally less competitive. Still though, it's a stopgap measure on the part of the players, so it's not optimal.

What is the Singularity?
So you've reached the singularity upgrade and the simulation crashed for some reason? well let me just tell you that the simulation didn't actually crash; I just wanted to prank you and restart all your work mwuahahahaha... but seriously, it's a new journey from here out now. You can gain metabits (prestige currency), which will boost your earnings the more you collect.

Quick Singularity Speedrun Guide:

Basic Information:
I recommend at least 1e12(AKA, 1 trillion) metabits.
Read and practice first, it's probably not going to work on first try. Buy you are going to get faster every run.

1. Start
2. Click really fast for 1 sec to unlock the evolution tree and get your first Amino Acid
3. Immediately switch to the shop on the left side instead of buying stuff in the tree
4. Now loop the following actions until you reach humans:
- go to the "Research"-tab and buy everything available
- go to the "Life"-tab and buy everything you haven't bought before once with the "max" setting
5. Click the brain for 1 sec really fast to get the first stone age
6. Now loop the following actions until you reach the singularity:
- go to the "Research"-tab and buy everything available
- go to the "Civilization"-tab and buy the newest civilization once with the "max" setting
7. 🎉 Party 🎉

If you're still having difficulties, here are some stuff to improve on, but be aware that these may be a bit tricky to execute:
- Only buy the animals from the main tree
- ignore the mammal and reptile evolution tree extensions
- Fast switch from Entropy to Ideas

I guess it would depend on what branch you are focusing on. There is only 1 for dinosaurs that is really good but I think that one was more expensive.

Extinction Artifact for 100 Logits, 1.5x speed boost. I think that was the first one I got since I already got through the main simulation and wasn't quite sure of how the Beyond works at that point

I'd agree with the exctinction artifact. along with triassic jet, jurassic amber and cretaceous pearl in the reality engine, you get a big boost in the primary sim, assuming you play mesozoic valley

after that, I'd get capybara and then giant squid.

somebody else had the same issue just a few hours ago and SirH clarified you need to choose at least one linked role for the statblock to show up, which is a discord limitation (and that should probably be in the guide, tbh)

Idk if progress from beta transfers to the released version of the game, but I believe it doesn't.
