the more metabits you earn the less quickly you earn them. your metabit generation rate decreases as you generate them.

I'm a completionist, so my answer: yes, ofc you should push meso.

To be honest, that won't help with the final upgrade. Afaik, it should be out of reach intentionally. Idk if there is a way of reaching it without cheating, but I don't think so.

Metablock size is kinda hard to explain. Each metablock is larger than the one before and so takes longer to produce, before being added to your bank.

I get that. I’m also a completionist. I’m just working on beyond more before going back through 9 runs of meso. I mean theoretically it should take like three months for me to get it at the current rate, but I’m pretty sure it slows down, and I wanted to avoid that.
