I really don't mind if an idle game takes a very long time to complete. I'm doing one that I've been playing for 5 years. And I understand that the reason the developers do these 'limited time events' in order to encourage people to spend a lot of money to buy boosts. I'm willing to spend cash commensurate with the enjoyment I get from the game compared to what I might pay for "non-free" games in order to show my appreciation. But these events are going to be a regular feature of the game and if I'm certainly not going to pay massive amounts of cash for these "pay to win" events.

placing in top 5 just gives you bonus logits, but it does seem necessary to use boosts just to complete the event sometimes. if you are able to get at least one or two badges they will boost your production on the next go-around of the event and you can build your generators up that way. but that's slow going.

It's definitely top tier because of the way it "tricks" you into learning while playing. I also like that it's essentially several games in one. Another one I've enjoyed due to that latter characteristic is NGU.

@azure turtle There's other idle games out there with limited time events. Some I can complete and some I can't due to the fact that the devs adjust difficulty to appeal to both noobs and long time players. I accept that and don't really mind that I can't complete some events and get max rewards because I can just slowly acquire those rewards via the mainline game. But for this game, I miss out on those tidbits of info concerning the topic of the event. I find those rewards far more satisfying than just some game tokens.

I honestly don't understand how you can't finish events, I understand that anatomy was hard, true, but what about other events like fungi, James Webb etc? They should be easy for you to finish, even harder ones are possible to finish on first go, but you need to spend some more time, zero money included

@azure turtle You've given me one clue, namely the ability to watch adds in order to gain boosts if playing on mobile. I prefer the full screen of my PC so I will be missing out on those boosts. Unless I'm misinterpreting the evidence, it certainly appears that I'm not alone, in fact maybe in the majority of players unable to complete the event in the time allowed. I'm sure there are speedrunners out there who have different goals than I do. That's fine. They can be at the tip top of the "winner" list and I'll be happy that they are. I just wish the devs catered more to those of us who enjoy the learning experience.

Hello everyone, I have been playing Cell to Singularity for about 3 years. At the time, it mainly fuelled my interest in biology.
Now I'm studying biology and have taken a zoology module and I've noticed that there are a few important levels missing, especially between plathelminths and jellyfish. In my opinion, a distinction between Proto- and Deuterostomia would be a useful addition. Another useful addition could be an intermediate point at the level of the Nephrozoa.
Does anyone know if the devs are interested in expanding this part of the game?

Is this a mistake?! The very first mission of Beyond Episode 20 is to rank up Neptune to Rank 13?! But it costs 228.26 qvg stardust to rank it up from 10 to 11! But it took me maybe 2 or so WEEKS to get past Episode 19, and you barely get into the Qvgs of stardust by that time, and even then, I still had to buy a Neutron Star to get some cards to speed things up. Neptune Rank 13 might then require Hvgs of Stardust, then! How the heck am I supposed to get that amount of stardust?! Stay stuck on that first mission of Episode 20 for a year or buy, like, 10 Black Holes!?

1: basically you complete missions that shows up in the event
2: those are metabits, you use them to buy upgrades for your simulation
3: get more entropy and idea, meso, beyond and events also speed up your sim if you bought their respective 10x increase upgrades

and dont worry about resetting your sims after a while, resetting it only makes it faster
so you get more metabits

i think most people either don't care or would riot if it was changed to the right color. i'm pretty sure most of us grew up with the dark blue instead of the light blue
