My commentary on that is that i feel the "ideas" part of the game is short for the player.
In a first run i could go from Atomic Era to Information to Emergent to Singularity in a matter of a few hours.
Is that the inteded outcome?

So when you go to a previous era to develop something, for example inventing the Galapagos Turtles when you are already on Singularity Era, is funny.
But the lore of the game is very well done. The backgound of computer simulations makes it have sense.
