yeah it’s slow, I invested in the extra slot from start, and always had all slots with dwarf research, and my stars where invested on gemini first as it 2xresearch speed, and bought a couple of supergiant stars with my darwinium

It's funny, because dwarf stars actually give a much better rate of fragments per darwinium spent. But I have no interest in buying 300 of them, so I'll just stick with missions or give up on it until the Beyond gets expanded

The math there is that dwarves cost 2 darwinium and have a 10% chance of a fragment while supergiants cost 100 and give 3 fragments. So spending 100 darwinium on 50 dwarf stars would give you 5 fragments

So not that much better I guess, but still a noticeable difference

Supergiants are better because of rare/epic cards and probably just more cards in general for the amount of darwinium but dwarves are better for fragments

Unless I have those numbers wrong

Also they have that small chance for double fragments, while I assume supergiants are a flat 3
