I know someone had completed all but 5 when they reached Rank 17 in Beyond.

You can also get Constellation Fragments from Stars. Dwarf Star has a 10% chance of getting a Fragment. Mid-Size Star has 50% Chance for 1 while Supergiant Star gives 3 out per purchase.

So you either purchase Supergiant Stars until you complete it or wait until they update Beyond for more Ranks.

I recommend only exiting a stage when you have completed all missions.
Each mission reward is comparable to a stone geode, right? So if it takes >4h for a mission, shouldn't you just go to the next stage?

For a trivial example, let's say I have a mission that would take me 4 more hours to do.

• I do it, getting me 2 stone geodes (1 for the mission, 1 for free). Then I start the next stage, play it for 4h, and get my next free geode. Total time: 8h, total geodes: 3, total time in next stage: 4h
• I skip it, and start the next stage. I play it for 8h, and get my free geodes along the way. Total time: 8h, total geodes: 2, total time in next stage: 8h
• I skip it, and start the next stage. I play it for 12h, and get my free geodes along the way. Total time: 12h, total geodes: 3, total time in next stage: 12h

So skipping it means you're trading a geode for 4h of fossil progress

When starting a new stage get to your newest dinos as fast as possible completely ignoring all the dinos before the newest 2-3. Then only upgrade these few as far as you can afford in the first 5-10 min.
After that focus on completing missions to get geodes.
Maybe in the first couple stages, but certainly by rank 20+ you should be spending more than 5-10min on your best dinos. Moreover, those will often not be the newest 2-3 but rather your 3rd & 4th newest (since your newest 2 probably don't have both traits available, let alone levelled)

Personally I do go for all of the missions, but I can usually complete them all inside of an hour each. If the missions are taking you a long time and you can reset, then you should do so

An extra 2 or 3 geodes is not gonna make or break your progression

you usually are going afk and oftentimes when you come back you will have got the requirements for what you need to go to next level but not for all missions

so if you are playing efficiently like that then its wayy better to just skip to next instead of waiting 2 or 3 days or clicking for 30m to just get what you could've got from the next rank within like 5m

I kinda just speed through, can't use an autoclicker because all of them are broken. Only upgrade the traits for the most recent 3 dinosaurs up to 8 and no more. Leave the First 4-5 Dinosaur's traits unupgraded, only upgrade them to automate them or for Upgrafe Trait challenges.

You can keep going or reset. Resetting will get you more income but continuing will get you more Metabits.

Although, continuing for more metabits may not be wise as you could get even more through reset.

On a side note, I did finally buy the last Metabit Mammal Upgrade.

Nah, nothing is going to break. When you load in a save from the cloud, it restores your progress but doesn't tick off any of the first time completion checks, meaning that the game basically thinks you're doing everything for the first time.

Then the fact none of the timers are connected, so would have to do each one individually.

Apologies, in retrospect that was really rude. I was having a bit of a bad day yesterday and my frustration was coming out in a lot of places it shouldn't have been.
I don't really have any problem with the guide, it is actually a very good set of guidelines for those who are confused on how to properly progress. My one issue is that a lot of people seem to be complaining about slow progression and then reference the guide. Perhaps with a little bit of experimentation the reccomended trait levels could stand to be adjusted. If I have any breakthroughs on that front I'd be happy to talk them over with you, and again, I'm really sorry for how rude I was.

Birds unlock at Rank 23 but Holiday Bird doesn't needs Birds to be unlocked. I can attest to this as I got the bird back in Rank 17 of Meso.

Although I am on Steam so was able to see it easier

You mean Smart Order? It is okay but is only applied to Entropy Generators. Doesn't apply to Idea Generators at all for some reason.

I think it should apply to all Generators not just Entropy. Guess the devs were too lazy to make everything be included in the sort filter.
