i have a problem with c15-3 blueprint not working. I know its a copy of c10-4 but i'm dying on wave ~37 every run even if i added some defense to survive some time i just cant kill any enemies

You don't need health in this. (Battery Foundation is there so you deal more damage.) In fact, Granite Foundation is likely the reason why it seems luck based - you're attacking slower.

c8-6 hard also keeps failing around 200
C8-2 can get a little dicey due to Multishot, Basic Bouncing and Rapidfire.
C8-6... you lost either Earth Shell, Electricity Shell or Fire Shell. While the BP does have Heartstopper Aura, that'll be way too slow if you don't use Toxic Piranha Ivy. So if you got the red toxin on TPI, you pretty much have to pray that the enemies will hit you again in 4 seconds or less.
And of course, make sure you aren't missing any modules.
still absolutely no luck on 8-6 after dozens of attempts, even tried offsetting where the ivy is placed which someone suggested months ago and still no change

I had some luck with c8-6 hard mode by adding Google's Influence to the blueprint and using it twice to increase heartstopper's radius and decrease piranha ivy's. Took 21 minutes 40 seconds to complete spamming ivy
8-6 hard doesn't seem to work anymore or it's just random
I'm also struggling with a couple of the hardmode challennges. 8-6 HM is one of the ones that doesn't seem to work for me
Also 5-3 HM, 14-1 HM and 15-1 HM
are you following the instructions given in the github?
c8-6 as is on the github has some unfortunate instances where the red ivy knocks the enemies too far back and you lose the shells

Okay, I see the issue with that - TPI's green toxin deals Nature damage, which is effective against Earth enemies, so they take more damage from it than other enemies, causing them to die quicker.

Yeah, bad Ivy RNG can lead to there being mostly darkness enemies which could remove the other elemental shells

Ivy is but there's only a 25% chance to get the red mist. If you're unlucky then Heartstopper will kill the other two elements and keep darkness alive

I turned off challenge spam AI (I was running that earlier since that is what the GitHub instrutions were) and I'm only using it twice. once of 1st wave and 2nd on 3rd wave so I have a full wave of clear to it. maybe that will work ๐คท

Here's an AI that uses all tower skills but it's only going to use simple heal.
Spam granite foundation at the beginning on x25 until you get 25/500 or more. Then you can either wait for growth to up your health for about 20 minutes or you can go for XP bonus, energy and energy regen

So what you're saying is that you died to some very big Electricity damage? That shouldn't really happen, unless you're that (un)lucky that you triggered Heatwave so many times in a row. Or maybe it has to do with Something? But enemies were able to hit me just fine with it on the Tower...
Nevermind, I know why that happens. Heatwave decides to be very stubborn and doesn't trigger after 15+ uses of Simple Heal.

Updated the AI for C8-5. This one should buy everything automatically (just have the modules tab open). It will misclick on the last Ocean Gift upgrade, though. Just buy it manually.
If you're dying, you got unlucky with Heatwave and you just have to try again. (The BP is the same.)
And a small update to C5-3 - it now has Ocean Gift instead of Elemental Resistance. Improves stability by a lot. (Yes, +1 dependency, but I don't think it matters much.)
And the AI automatically turns on x1 buy mode now. (With {click.relative()}.)
Nevermind, the AI wasn't setting x25. Now it's fixed.
The BP for 8-2 hard wasn't working for me at all. kept dying by ~250 (/500), sometimes as early as wave 50.

Most Normal mode challenges can be cheesed with Shield + Barrier, getting Shield upgrades in Trading Post and getting your Crates up.
makes sense, but shield and barrier don't help me kill the waves

survival is easy enough. but the enemies become invincible

Ah, I see. I know for a fact that Fire Barrier is affected by Magma Foundation and Fire Focus, since that's what I use on my MT1 save. Not sure if you're able to use Fire Focus (since it also needs Energy), but Magma Foundation definitely can help.

Frost Nova isn't the only stunning move here. Bash also does it. But yeah, Frost Nova most likely does more. (Do you have Wave Streaming off?)

Alright I finally actually sat down and checked which challenges can be beaten with barriers and the like on normal mode.
turns out it's more than you'd expect if your trading post is good (and/or you're in Era)
this was tested on my mt4 save using Air Barrier as the default element
What's your Crate amount?
given the crate requirements this is more intended to be "wait if you're in Era use Advanced Shield"
That... might be a bit too high, even for an #era-phase player, but I guess that unlocks there.
My shieldpoint bonus makes basic shield comparable to a more normal player's advanced shield
so this should be a good rule for players in Era who haven't finished challenges yet

You can cheese most Normal mode challenges by using Shield + <element> Barrier, and grabbing Shield upgrades in Trading Post.

also most of the missed challenge modules can be ignored in normal mode; since are resistance related and with enough progression, the lost resistance can be substituted with town stats

Didn't have piranha or whatever for Volcano-c4. Spent way too much time throwing everything at it for an hour or two. Too tanky mobs and I am too silly to understand why or how. Ended up doing neutral response(turns enemies into neutral) + void(deletes neutrals in the area) to pass it in four clicks

Apparently the shells got nerfed in v1 (not that I can confirm, I'm still waiting for the web version to get updated). This is most likely why c3-4 bp is borked

- if it's for hardmode, that it actually beats hardmode (most builds that beat hardmode will also beat normal mode, so "can it beat hardmode" is the standard, but reflect-based builds tend to get screwed over by town stats in normal mode)

bad news, the changes to WINCE move a couple challenges out of the barrier pool (two challenges lose access to it entirely, a third now requires a reasonable-for-late-inf-phase amount of shield point bonus from trading post due to the change to WINCE's proc rate)

WINCE used to have a tier cap of 5 with I think 5% proc rate when capped, which meant that with enough shield points you were killing the squared health bosses in c-4 before they could kill you
it's still technically possible with enough shield points but the rate reduction means you're taking more hits, and their damage is squared as well (I forget if it was squared before but either way you're going from 20 to 33 hits per on average)
5 to 2 is a pretty bad nerf, but honestly the module is just broken as shit under the right circumstances
it's because nothing is immune to it (that's why it got moved to legendary)
any enemy under a certain threshold of damage will just instantly get nuked after enough time

it trumps all immunity and defense

c3-4 hasnt changed
Is there a reason why Woot's mod is so powerful? I thought the devs said that a mod needed to not be "game breaking" to qualify for the effect, but a instakill that ignores stats is pretty damn good.
i suppose that's why the nerf was warranted
it halves attack speed so you basically need to use wince by itself
and defensive builds are the slowest ones in the long run
it decreases attack speed even more now
