The next video should be SLAM Tracking

The Shinra Meisin is an offline, open modular tracking stack for VR and MR devices, designed for the Vector Gear ecosystem while remaining interoperable with external platforms and applications.

how does this differ from projects like EyeTrackVR and Project Babble?

Pointing to the SLAM, inside out FBT (controller based) and BCI (WIP) mainly

#

However beyond that instead of source available we are very transparent in how we allow people to use our stuff

#

We have a 1.50 fee per unit sold which falls under the entire Shinra Meisin system while using it for DIY stuff is fully free

#

The process is "Hey, we want to use this" "Okay just send verification of how much you sold and a payment quarterly"

#

So users win by getting more tracking systems and devs win by getting a cheap, unified thing going
