This is genuinely a REALLY big bug I have zero clue what causes it. Was just playing for fun with a friend when I randomly switched to controller and it LAGS whenever I use it.

could you elaborate? does windows 10 use 360 drivers when using a wired xbox one controller?

HIGH PRIORITY!!!:

game starts slowly lagging over time when using a controller, but ONLY when using the actual controller if i quickly switch back to keyboard and mouse it is completely smooth. since it starts lagging over time and not immediately, could this be a memory leak?

i'm just speculating here but i have no other clue what it could be i have never had this issue in any other game
