With how the card level up system works in this game it's incredibly unfun being forced into ranked while also being forced to play against people with end game level cards that end games in literal seconds.
There have been times where I've gone into a game only for it to end in literal seconds because it's a 2-3 stack on the enemy team with purple borders and max rank everything cards that decimate us no matter what and it's not uncommon where I'll get people back to back like that where it's incredibly demoralizing and hard to enjoy the game.

The issue is still (this isn't the first complain about the topic) in the fact that this game has very small active player base. This small playerbase creates the issue that low ranking players have to face against high ranking players, since otherwise there would be no one to play against. You have also touched the other great issue that this game has, which just happens to be unfair card leveling system, where many of the maxed cards are at least 1.5 times as effective as their level 1 counterpart. In the current state this game is unfortunately really unfriendly to beginners since newcomers are in really poor situation, because they can face their first games literally against anyone and get absolutely demolished without any chance to respond even if they managed to understand the game mechanics and build an interactive deck.

Let's say they manage to get to 1000 players per hour consistently. That's an actual number where one can enjoy this game while playing against same rank as their enemy. But under 500 divided into like 12 or more regions isn't going to work out at all.

hm i mean it'd probably be better if they made it where there's game modes where it's random cards, or where all cards are maxed or level 1 and such

bringing in all the vets wouldn't help, if anything it'd make it worse since now there's more vets than plebs who aren't imediately interested in a non-big name game that you also have to spend a fuck ton of time in to get good

i mean that's not exactly healthy. in a game like this you're suposed to have fun and feel like you're doing something rather than dying within 10 seconds of a round starting because the enemy has max rank sniper, walls, and phantom bullets

meh it's hard to really say that the devs are doing anything wrong, it's more just a time thing
