Ive had some enemies that won’t shoot at me at all. Off the top of my head I know their is one in Where Our Ancestors Rest that is right next to a breakable barricade that won’t ever shoot you.

its more something you realise as you play, plus much later into the game its explained to you pretty much
i imagine it's not meant to be inherently obvious so you might feel bad for it once you realise
