Add a full chat system OR add simple emotes to the game (like GG, laughing, angry)

thats not always the case. Guns of Icarus had voice and text chat and that game was really chill. Friday the 13th had voice chat and that was shitposty. Quake 1 and 2 havent been toxic in my time with them, but people rarely use chat in those games so
classic star wars battlefront 1 and 2 are always chill in text chat, and i even had good experiences with EA Battlefront 2's chat system
then you got fan games like mega man 8bit deathmatch, where i actually had really fun convos through text

I personally think having no chat is an intended feature. Right now you HAVE to add the person if you really wanted to talk about the match. This works even better with the game having its own friends list.

fax, I dont 2v2 with rando's just bc a duo with the slightest target focus wins. Don't get me started on comboing your hands (i think you should be able to see ally hands)
