I'm not sure which way around this should be, but most weapons get their first bullet eaten by Ice Block to 'break' it. Whether this is intended or not, I don't know, but it is inconsistent. Punchr still fires a full shot and katana still does damage.

The way these interactions do make sense in the current way they are programmed. If puncher had its shot "eaten" it would inflict damage to the player coming out if ice block. This was mitigated by puncher firing two projectiles, one being a single bullet that deals exactly 11 damage to the ice block and has no other niche uses and the explosive that seems to be programmed not to collide with your ice block when fired. For katana, its attack seems to be able to hit multiple targets with one swing, so the byproduct of that leaves its active hitbox alive

Something to also mention is that if you activate phantom bullets, they will prevent your shots from being eaten by your own ice block, allowing your first shot to actually work

I dont think any shots get eaten its just that iceblock bodyblocks the first shot that comes from inside it

Every weapon either needs to not have its first shot eaten, or every weapon does

I'm not certain, but i don't remember ice block eating bullets at all on release

it may have to do with how they changed collisions to prevent bugging when you push other players
