Oooh I really like this ability and that you drew them as a tagger. Maybe the bombs are spray cans and come in different colours?
Could still basically be the same as poison bombs, but I also had another idea based on that:
Spray bombs colour the environment, but also tags the enemies caught in the blast/walking through the cloud, and either gives you:
Slight predator vision? (weaker version in some way, doesn't show exact location, perhaps it pings them every second with a 0 dmg tick to show you where they are.)
OR, they just leave a trail of footprints now. (same colour as spray bomb)
