Same I don't remember who exactly but they said that they tried with Wasmer and it worked

I don't think compiling o1js to Wasm would achieve anything w.r.t performance, for what it's worth. The perf-critical parts are already in Wasm, see this thread for much deeper info: https://discord.com/channels/484437221055922177/1188130683697233973

It's not for performance it's so I can potentially create my off-chain server in another language ex. Elixir in my case
