On trying to swap a motor into the DNB Censor JNGL-X4, it says in the engine information window that one of available engine families to swap is the V8 AXK5 engines. However, when attempting to choose that engine type to swap to, there is no option for any of the V8's. It is only showing the V6's. I built an entire V8 AXK5 375-T 4X4 before finding this out.

Have you removed the v6 using an engine crane or by fully disassembling it? I believe you can't change engine families unless the block is removed first

Yes you can, you might have to take everything out and the logging and logging back in, had this happen earlier to me
Possibly just erverything in the engine bay as maybe some parts dont work together with other parts?

Yeah the V6 is pulled fully out of the truck. I even removed all the non-engine parts from the engine bay as well.

you have to remove the exhaust and sometimes air intake depending on engines. it says that in the mechanicopedia. then instead of changing engine family just drop the V8 in

Well, I was finally able to get it to work. I removed all parts, including the full exhaust system for the whole truck. Then I realized you have to select the swap from the Engine Crane and not from the inside the engine bay. There is a swap option on the radial menu there and that is the one that is not showing all options.
