#Sideways camera so I can see to my left and right along the boards

How would input work for that angle? Should it follow the camera or should it be absolute in the attacking direction? 🤔
i think with this it might be kind of cool if your camera followed your head/stick? maybe thatd be too much movement and just weird though
Tried this out at some point and it was definitely a motion sickness simulator 🤣
yeah thats what i figured 😆
Same paradigm as the reverse camera.
Would this suggestion solve the same issue (basically a free look)? https://discord.com/channels/483374331842265099/1450611830849536151
I definitely wasn't thinking of a free look. Just rotating in 90deg increments
(Don't feel obligated to follow through on this btw)
My biggest concern with 90 degree increments is that it's easy to get "stuck" in one direction if you need to quickly snap back to regular camera
Reverse cam works because it's a single button and you know what happens when you press it, if we start rotating in increments then you need to be much more aware of your current state and what happens if you press it again, and likely need a second button to go counterclockwise
Stuck as in paralysis from not knowing which button to press in a split second
Can say skill issue but it will 100% happen to plenty of people 🤣
I feel like adding the option and letting people decide how/if they want to use it is the best option.
Just like i keep asking for a follow puck camera option so i can viably play in 1st person camera. Even if its a motion sickness simulator @lusty elm
