I'm not gonna lie if yall want to grow the game you defo need a better marketing team. I've seen the tiktok videos yall be posting, and thats some weak stuff ngl. We need some better content on them scrolling apps like tiktok, instagram and youtube shorts, because thats where the most people be spending their time. I found out about slapshot through tiktok and it was a very well made video, and I really wanted to try the game out, but now they are not so good anymore. Like this is a really fun game, but not enough people to play it, hence the "bad matchmaking and servers". We just need more players, and good marketing fixes that. I really need the slapshot team to think about this one.

Yeah back then we had Kazxi
thats what im sayinnn
Now we have @proud garden and mf don’t do shit but repost old videos or make shit post memes
no hate but thats ture
I’m not hating I’m preaching the truth
Don’t try suggesting this you’ll get shut down
I say this every week and clearly end up hitting a nerve with someone
oh wow
I'm not trying to put anyone down but our new content does not look very professional. I am not saying this to hate on anybody but when we had previous creators they did their best to appeal to the audience. Some of the content being posted isn't even related to slapshot and if it is it is very vague.
Like what is this and why are we posting it with a fart noise
I’m trying to put people down
How did you genuinely even get hired this is some of the worst marketing content i’ve ever seen
damn bros going for the jugular
😭
this typa shit looks like the game is meant for 5 year olds ngl
Target audience: 5 year olds
Actual audience: jobless adults

I made and posted that, @grim rivet. There was a trend going around at the time with that setup and I figured it couldn't hurt to post something with Slapshot. Please keep the discussion respectful @last copper @somber hazel. It's one thing to post constructive criticism but you guys are just insulting with absolutely zero added value.
I get that not everyone’s a fan of the recent content. If you have specific ideas for the kind of TikToks you’d like to see, feel free to share them. I'm open to improving!
I'm still finding my ground and learning here.
Steal omega strikers streamer reward idea. They had a competition where they paid the winning streamer 3% of revenue during the event runtime. During the event each player can choose to play for a streamer and all their goals were counted as points for that streamer. Aka streamer who gets the most of their viewers to play wins
You could also just spend $50 to run an Instagram ad about an esports tournament with $2000 reward money. That'll get that unemployed adult audience coming
That's nice to hear. If I have any suggestions I'll let you know.
Idk if we can take their marketing ideas 😬 (I do like the streamer team thing)
Realistically, we could already guess with like 90% accuracy who will win the prize money. The game has a lot of mechanical depth so the people that keep improving get a LOT better than the opposition. Ther's no way for a new player to compete
That’s it imma start streaming the game everytime I get on
this being the top 4 is crazy (ignore the 3rd one)
Sorry boss lowkey crashed out
I've been giving constructive criticism for the past 5 years though
I made a post and it wasn’t even addressed fuck ne
I can second this, I didnt score a goal for like the first 50 games I played and even after that they were few and far between for a long time. The only reason I -- and players like myself -- continued playing was because I saw how good I could be and just dumped hundreds of hours into practice
unfortunately its rare for people to want to do that when theres other games around where you are consistently playing people your exact skill level
because the game didnt blow up right away theres not really a good way to close the skill gap
unless a huge surge of players come in who want to devote the time and effort it takes to get better
it sucks that theres no casual playerbase really either but, at least on west, its slowly starting to heal as higher skill players are gravitating towards pugs and scrims over pubs
but they don't know that
