Change the mechanics of scoring a goal completely alone, going around the net and then pushing the puck. The game is about playing as a team, and this way of scoring only encourages individuality and forces that situation all the time. And it makes the game very monotonous and boring.

it used to be much easier to score alone from behind the net. it is much more defensible now
against most people that pic is all you need. against better players you will have to time it to move out as they approach so they don't get around you
but once you get the hang of it you can stop almost 100% of those attempts

I just hold space and use the stick to move around the post and i very rarely get scored on 1v1

Stops the cheese wrap but better 1s will recognize and go wide. I won’t lie wraps are cheese asf if you get good at them
Even if you don’t score you force the defense to sluff down and cover it leaving the key wide open
Kinda like x in lacrosse is where a ton of plays are generated
