Reason for having a minimum is because usually payment transactions are a % and a fixed fee, so in some cases if someone were to buy for like 50 cents we'd only get 8 cents or something

Yup that's how it works. Would love to just make stuff and give everything away for free but unfortunately the people asking to pay for the servers, their services, the government, my landlord et al don't share that idea 😛

I think we're pretty close to giving everything away for free already. The entire game is free, everything except for Premium can be earned in-game and the only things that can be paid for at all are cosmetic and some quality of life features that don't really impact gameplay.
