it will be bad for the health of the game. theres no work around its just a bad idea for the current game

They could make it where when there is like nobody on and not 6 people qing they could just make it a 2v2 match or a 1v1

its rare for exactly 2-5 people to be quueing

I mean 10-20 people is not rare at all and when you are a high rank its impossible to find other people in your rank so you cant find a game or u just get put into a silver lobby so its boring.You could just find like 4 legends and do a 2v2 instead of getting put in a lobby of silvers

its rare for there to be 2-5 people on of the same rank when it comes to legend

for west every game is some mix of high legend all the way down to plat 1

all in all the game just isnt ready for 2v2 or 1v1 just play customs w the ppl that are on
