I have the same problem. I suggest you to find your level playrs and invite them to your lobby and play with them.

you gotta keep in mind that while you queue other people are as well

and despite their skill level they have to find a game

so generally lower level players will end up in like gold lobbies just because theres not many low level players

and then same goes for very high legends

tbey get forced into unbalanced lobbies because theres not enough people playing to fill a gsme of just their rank

My current problem is, that even though I have skill of silver, I always end up in plat 1. That means I basically cannot play the game, because everyone is better than me. So I just keep passing the puck or dumping it so I do not create turnover..

i wouldn't normally encourage solo play but maybe you should try going solo for a bit and improve your overall control if you feel like passing and winning isn't enough x)

I'm gold 2 and get put in lobbies with silvers, bronzes, and unranked who puck chase every second and we always lose

I'm not the best player, but I've been playing for a year and know position, how to pass, etc. so I should not be getting put in with these terrible players

at a certain point you shouls be good enough to just solo, otherwise you arent really good enough to get out of gold, thats just how ranks work rn

When that happens it's because there is not enough people queueing at the same time so it does its best to give you a fair game. It happens even to me when I play and I just try to have fun regardless of the loss. It would be better if we could have a bigger playerbase but sometimes it's bound to happen there is no magic trick to fix it.

I rarely get silver or gold in my games it's all plat but I do play when there is a big enough queue to get fair games.

splitting queue will reduce player count in each queue and therefore games will have to be more unbalanced and restricting new players from playing with better friends will actively prevent the playerbase from growing

Ever played any competitive game? Not every match is balanced, even CS with 500000 ppl online you can still get unbalanced matches
All you can do is have fun, improve, and try to win

It happens to me too getting bad teammates and if there was something to do about it we would do it and we're open to ideas but it all comes down to player count / people queueing at the exact moment you do

I cant deal w this queue system im plat 3 and everytime im close to getting to legendary either people grief me down or I queue in with silver 2 players meanwhile my opponents are plat 2-3 and I end up losing like 15 game points or wtv its called

Why not add a feature like some other game have where you can set how strict you want the matchmaking for MMR to be personally. So you can shrink or expand it if you want to play with anyone asap or if you don't mind waiting 5-10min to get a match with only other players in your rank or very close to it?

Well y'all could control how narrow it can be set, like it can only be as strict as 1 rank above or below you, so legends have to q with plat 3s. I know a lot of high ranked players already have alts anyway so they can protect their sr on their main when they want to solo q. Wouldn't it be great if this was implemented and people would basically have to stop complaining about bad matchmaking and can only complain about how small the player base is 🙃
