I know this is a much discussed topic here. However, I believe that if the problem of input delay could somehow be solved, new players and even players who have been playing for a long time would have significantly more fun. I don't know what the problem is behind it and why every other game gets it right but it really is a dealbreaker. The game is brilliant and a lot of fun. But if you can't play without lags most players will give up after a short time. I can't imagine that there really is no solution to making a game without input delay. Most people don't have the worst connection and still having input delay in this form in 2023 is very unfortunate.

Erv already said he talked to netcode people who said in this situation there really isn't a solution that can be made, out of curiosity what ping do you usually play on? They do have a page where you can see some ways you can try to improve this. But tbh you do need a decent enough connection to play this game, sometimes the answer might be to get a better isp.
Yea ik, thanks for the help but i already tried everything. Got a steady 40 ping and already tried the website my ping is fine. Im getting a better isp in some weeks maybe this will fix the issue for me. But i dont think it will fix it for most of the playerbase
steady 40 isn't bad
blue is west, he plays on like 60 on east and he's one of the best pros in the game atm
hm yea but i feel like the diff between practice and online is too much
Like you cant even compare
you'll always feel it
if you can sneak under 30 the game feels a lot better but apart from that there isn't too much you can do apart from just use the in game ping sim in practice so they are both the same. In general controller feels a lot better with bad ping then a mouse does
yea i read that. Its kinda sad tbh. I like this game a lot but unfortunately i cant play it like this. Feels unreal that there is no solution to this problem. I think if they would be able to fix it the playerbase would be much higher and people would stick longer to it. We´ll see what the future brings
I haven't heard anyone quit over having 40 ping it really isn't a massive amount
Keep at it man
