**Challenge: **
For smaller/medium guilds, communication in GW is one of the key challenges. Guild chat moves pretty fast, and it is a difficult platform to share war strategy in. Our player-base is diverse; we have a few players who struggle to keep track in English.
While Discord is an option (we do use it as well), not all our players are on Discord. We can't push too hard for people to download another app, as that will alienate people rather than encourage them.
Suggestion
Allow officers to tag GW nodes: 'Attack', 'Defend', or 'Fortify', each option with an icon. Tags should be persistent until the node's ownership changes, or until an officer changes the tag. The key advantage is that it is a very simple way of improving communication, allowing officers to communicate strategy even to less active members and to cross language barriers easily.
Benefits
Player churn is one of a mobile games ongoing challenges. The social aspect is one of the best ways of reducing churn, and this suggestion will help guilds to better communicate, cooperate and will therefore assist with making people feel part of a team, rather than being the slowpoke who struggles to figure out what node they should attack or defend, or who realizes too late that they missed a line in guild chat, and that they're now going counter to strategy. Improved communication in GW will help will player retention.
