in the end they remain your parents, i get completely what you mean, i sometimes still hate my dad for things he did in the past and stuff he sometimes still says/does

the situation you're in is more common than you think so don't worry about it, my mom definitely is nice most of the time but snaps out now and then, have just learned to cope with it or find ways to make her not mad, like jumpy said at the end of the day they're still your parents. Arguing with them has never dissolved the situation so as hard as it is, do try to bear with it, talking with my siblings about it definitely helps me cool myself off instead of trying to make the situation worse
