yeah prob will have to.
i wonder if warranty allows me to send it back a 2nd time. got these replaced 2 years ago wonder if they allow it a 2nd time
if only one stick is bad then it almost halves the cost in fixing the problem
didnt blue screen so i guess it's not gpu
let me just startup hades againg igues
but you do have this so it might really be ram sticks
ok got into the game nothing happend. weird
anyone familiar with thernal paste types? looking at doing mx4 or mx6 atm. thought might aswel replace cpu thermal paste
it's all pretty much the same just get the cheaper one
hated the arctic one that came with the cooler. it was kinda dry and wont stick to the cpu. had to smudge it to work.
i did read that mx6 is better than 4, but hard to apply
ah yea that might be it. the noctua one was nice and easy. but yea buy the cheaper one. as long as you apply it right, it'll be mostly the same.
running a memtest and only a second into it got told it failed in big capital letters
memory usually has lifetime warranty so yeah just RMA it with the manufacturer
update: i asked a guy at a pc repair shop near me what he thought i should do and he suggested this build, should i change anything?
my suggestion is do not buy a pc right now
that ram is three times the price it should be
id say go for a ryzen 7 if you're handling multiple softwares at once
and a higher vram video card
and for me personally, in storage, a 500gb sdd for the boot drive and softwares and a 2tb hdd for the bulk files/ games
and downsize with the pc case, atx too big
do u have any recommendations for any of the changes you mentioned?
i wouldnt know how to look for them

do you really need to upgrade now? cant you just upgrade the gpu? is it really slow for your work? like mb said if you upgrade now to am5 you'll need to get the ddr5 as well which is triple the usual right now
you did mention 8 years ago so that might be really old. if you really need to upgrade then i guess it's better to do it now even if it's too late since the memory shortage might affect other components too
it has already been confirmed that it is going to effect gpus
this is something i would make for myself
500GB ssd is simply not enough these days
that looks great, but is 750 watt enough? did the newer stuff use less power?
750w is minimum for general 5070's I think, overall should be fine
hmm
it's a speed issue right?
Cause if it were me I'd 64GB DDR4 3200MHz my way to the store
Those old stocks are still there in MSRP
alright, new thermal paste applied and put in my old ram. no memory issues on this one. time to send the other ones back
How much should i ask for these DDR4 RAM sticks? Cheapest i seen online is around €60 new, also these are (from what i read online) not great ones
came from my old computer, don't really have any use for em
$70 usd is about what I see them going for used
ah okki
dire times
much better, docker using up 135gb 😔
@proud beacon at your service....for a few mins
