@plain steeple
what is that
what the hell is that
why is it a mix between a datsun and an r34
now an r34.....
it's an S15 silvia with the "G-nose" Z front and R34 back. It's amazing
the only r34 ik
im sorry but that broke my brain trying to figure out what that car was I don’t think that’s amazing
sexy
S13?
good guess. The fenders are what you look at yes?
Unfortunately it is not an S chassis.
Hint: It is definitely a ||Japanese vehicle||

This is the biggest hint

the car is a ||Mazda Cosmo, rotary engine car||
anyways
this is a photo of an R32 Skyline GTR prototype
likely for testing it's aero and such. No badges and generic tyres
i knew it was a cosmo
damnit!!
they're real cool
by the way. Midnight Racing team 40th anniversary happened on this day
(+–24 hours because timezones)
ball joint lengths do adjust scrub radius. Also alters KPI
- increases, 2) dec, 3) dec, 4) inc, 5) inc, 6) dec, 7) dec, 8) inc, 9) dec, 10) increase
is it right
ahh ok I see
I thought you were asking exact details lol
the more I fall in love with this
nah lol ik that
the senior dude told us that we keep KPI at 9 to 13 degrees or smth
in our car
and use a 2 PR tyre
slightly preset a toe in
to increase oversteer
inward ye
on the front?
ye
It's not to promote oversteer, it naturally centres when no steering input with inward toe.
I'd imagine when you have inward toe on a shorter wheelbase it prevents the inside wheel from scrubbing completely when steering
nani
I remember him saying that what happens in offroad cars is the complete opposite of F1 in terms of toe
ik they keep toe out in F1
I'd imagine that while toe in
the outer tire turns more during a corner
and the inner tire essentially moves straight forward
and when the car exits the corner, the toe in centers it again
Oh wow that's smart
Yes that is what happens
mind blown
I also see it being used in old GT cars though which is why I was confused lol
F1 cars I imagine would use inside toe but I have not kept up with their innovations for quite a while
if the inside turns more, that wheel skids under any sort of pressure when accelerating or braking. It becomes a liability
apparently it's toe out in F1
It may be because they use inboard suspension

I only know many outboard setups like road cars, GT, and much older F1
You know how they are in Formula, very secretive
.yt toe in F1 cars
frick
Mercedes brought their innovative Dual Axis Steering system which helps drivers adjust toe on the fly. But what is toe? Let's find out!

Das is nice
I remember seeing something about that
you know ackerman steering yes?
true/pure ackerman steering is in many normal vehicles. Especially in industry vehicles. Racing cars however would use reverse ackerman to take advantages from it
wildly altered setups, arms, angles, etc
Passenger cars use something in between the two. But in your case, the car I assume it's off-road with lawn care vehicle tyres
Ahh, don't even worry
It's a bit of a redundant topic because when there's that many linking points and whatnot, something else can compensate for it
oh speaking of points
hm?
I would have imagined A arms in the front
aren't they the same thing tho
A arm and wishbone
the one in the front does look like an A
same concept, different construction
Actually, I can't say that definitively. It's a semantics thing
I was thinking "U arms" or the "wishbone" as being typical on a double wishbone and being punctual on it being of an A or V shape
all types of specialised vehicles run a variant of some setup and it's always working wildly to the advantage of some type of goal
And as general as that sounds, without the intentions of the manufacturer of a design, the intentions of the driver and team, etc — the only advise that can be given is general if not specific on setup.
now have a meme
it didn’t even look like a mazda holy

200sx with Origin Lab Streamline kit skirts and rear with a... Wangan-kaido racer spoiler. Possibly Veilside
that might also be an Origin Lab bumper on the right next to the gate. Cool.
People were guessing either fc or 180sx. But that rear to me definitely looked like an sx to me
Lol it's an S13 no doubt
and if you are anywhere but Japan or the United states. They had their own 180sx called the 200sx
it was equipped with the base 180sx engine (CA18DE-T) until the mid 90s
@gleaming meteor
"hot rod" is an antiquated and powerful/obnoxiously styled US American style of motor vehicle
So anything that looks like it was made between the American post-war boomer era (1945+)
and with huge mоdification to the engine. Superchargers, "bug-catcher" blower (supercharger and carburetor inlets) — it was the reason why drag racing became popular. 300hp monsters flying down strips of California road and the "LA River" (OEC Girl Front MV was filmed there)
I imagine in bike form it's either a American "chopper" bike or a post-war veteran's bike that has been upgraded.
post war bike (below)
chopper motorcycle (with murican🦅™️ pilot)
recognize this place from any k-pop music video?? @stiff slate
i see
yo it's
that one OEC mv
lol i mean something was bound to happen that high in mileage
it’s my fathers and he really loved that thing
i wish i could sell my honda and buy him a new one
Ooh?
bro i went to take it for emissions and no one could drive stick at the place
NO SHOT
lol
they had me wait for like 20 minutes until an older man came in for his shift
that's just straight up comedy
like, that shit just can't be real LOL. But it happened
Options options options
I know they can be a bitch to work on. Especially newer ones
Weigh the options though. There is always more value in newer cars
I need not to explain
yeah that’s fair
getting rid of it
the cost outweighs the value
my father wants to either get a bmw z or a saab convertible
stick of course
Amazing picks btw
BMW Z cars had been some of the best driving vehicles I experienced
yeah i heard they’re built like tanks too
only problem is that the markets still a little fucked up
The TT's are nice
Especially the new gen design
If I had money for Audi Maintenance, I would get the TT RS
haha same
The new Z is nice too
fr honestly
It fits the vibe more

one of my first real loves with autos. It is quite a machine
I always assumed it has something to do with the vectors of power but I might be mistaken
speaking of first loves with autos
idk what vectors of power are but
what I found out is that when the bike leans over
the normal reaction acting on the bike's tyre, will act diagonally
since the tire is leaning
now if we take the 2 components of this force, we have the x component pushing the bike towards the direction of turn
but
due to rake angle and trail and stuff, that force creates a torque in a direction opposite to the turn
which essentially keeps the bike from falling over
beautiful.

NSX?
ye
Beautiful thing
amazing engineering. Just near perfect in all ways
Designed by the people who designed almost 70% of Ferraris
weren’t only like 50 of these made ?
I'm not sure if there isn't some special version where that is true but there were more than 50 NSXs made for sure
this is apparently the concept from which the NSX eventually came to be
and here is a repost of an older video of Senna driving the NSX on Suzuka with feet cam
best video of youtube senna driving!
no actually a couple thousand since that's an American Acura version rather than a Honda international one
they made a small amount of NSX "Type R" versions though
that isn't a type R though. They came in White and Black only if I recall
if anyone likes talking concept cars, please do so even more
Today's quest: Name this car
Concept car really
the symbol in front trying to figure out which manufacturers have a circle in it
if you showed me just the front I would think it is an NSX but if you showed me only the back I would think it is an american car like a Charger
minus the lil vent
I wanted to say Nissan Prelude at first and then I remembered that Prelude is Honda not a Nissan
no clue really
if it wasn't mid engine I would say a gtr or one of the Zs but I don't think I know any mid engine nissans to begin with
it's a concept ||from 1987. The Nissan Mid4 MKii. Used a Fairlady twin turbo engine (300ZX in most other markets) and was basically Nissan's concept to stand on the top, before the R32 GTR with the same ATESSA AWD system + HICAS 4W steering.||
It's quite a crazy piece of machinery. Never would have expected it to predate the NSX project
the MKi of the ||Mid4|| concept was made in 1985 with a boxier look and no turbos with the same engine. Harkening the feel of the Toyota MR2 coupe, although unrelated.
here's a nice video of the Japan highway with some Babymetal playing in the car
Supra and GTR if I am not mistaken
that’s sick

BMW M3 GTR driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck. 1 lap on Nürburgring Nordschleife.
it's a video from 2004 where they tested M3 GTR at Nürburgring
it's interesting seeing what kinds of cars people went on the track with at that time
well the back looks like some Chrysler or something but seeing the japanese plate and the middle of the car it's probably something like a Silvia or something
apparently they wanted to put a V10 in it made from 2x 5 cyl engines from Audi as well but they didn't go through with this plan until Lamborghini Gallardo
Winner winner. S15
I was thinking about more 2 door japanese cars but non of them that I know would fit it more than that car
C pillar is where you have to look. + the door contours
The better VW --> Audi
just for a reference
https://www.netcarshow.com/Lamborghini-Gallardo-2003-1280-77.jpg
the old 928s are amazing
if it embeded
I love seeing them
It's quite neat to see when two engines are combined to create a freak of a power unit
Speaking of
the K48 engine (yes two K24 Honda heads in a V8 config) had some recent developments
a video of virtual/simulator engine data and such makes it look very promising
I wonder if they're gonna continue with the vtec
it's one cam shaft for intake valves and another for exhause valves
for V and Flat engines you end up with 4 cam shafts in total
well dohc is more efficient
you can tune it better for better timing etc.
but it is a more complicated engine, more expensive repair and manufacturing
i see
this one has info about it including a comparison between 4th gen and 5th gen Honda City
where the main difference in engine between them is going from sohc to dohc
apparently there is some confusion in terminology there
some V engines with dohc are marketed as quad cam engines and some V engines with sohc are called twin cam
Quad cam because two banks/set of two camshafts
there can be a single camshaft V8 though. Plenty of American ones are. That's what is known as "pushrod" because the single cam operates long rods extending to the top of each bank.

Well at last I can finally know how it would look like in real life
I would switch out the wing though
I'll ask a friend if they know who owns it
Slantnose are so sexy
Especially with that wing
sheesh
Gonna see if someone can do a livery sketch of it
I want to do one if I ever get one
fuck yes
Slantnose + TBK bumper is also one of my dream projects lol
look at these rock chips
sexy
might I add with various RUF BTR parts
like what RMC 993 guy has
I like some of the RUF parts
I just like how they are properly trimmed down
And the denloc wheels. They just do so damn well on a Porsche
Too bad denloc is not produced much. If selection of 17" rim tyres wasn't already a pain
side note: Speedline wheels are underrated
Everyone says BBS this or OZ Racing that or Enkei and "Volk Racing the world"

Ronal Speedline and Corse line
magnesium alloy and forged aluminium perfection
190e 🤌
tesla with a backup power in ukraine
apparently the efficiency is around 65mpg
which is around 3.6l per 100 km
HAH
Gotta love fossil fuel reliance
it is not voluntary I will say. We're all born into it
anyone who wasn't is beyond dead
I know infrastructure isn't there for hydrogen powered combustion. But oh do I really want it to be quick and definite for the future
190e and E36 are a must have as a Euro enthusiast
How are the maintenance on the e36 btw? worked on any? @brave rampart
They are great
probably the best product out of their factory
the inline 6s are good
the inline 4s however... a bit finnicky. Less fun to work on
the 325 is also
hmmm i c
320, 323, 325, 328, 330 (all depends on country market)
The US & Canada spec is a better E36 M3 in my opinion
Sedan versions exist in the E36 line. Depends on market but M3 also had it
Just simpler because the S52 also shares more in common with the regular M52 engine
And it's more reliable than something that makes ~240kW
It makes 240hp LOL big difference
1kW is 1.34hp or something
oh i c
I would also recommend the E46 3 series
325 and 330i
although. They do have an issue with electronics over time. Door lock response, windows, console
Small dumb things is all. Seat adjustment motors. However the ride is smoother and just as dynamic as the E36. The transmission is buttery. They had amazing synchros on the E46 transmissions
you can shift them without clutch because they are just really well designed.
If you want an alternative. Try the Lexus IS300/Toyota Altezza
A direct competitor to the 3 series but with a 2JZ-GE
I heard once that the problem with Lexus is that the cars are so perfect that they are boring
They are just Toyotas
the guy talking might have been a big LFA fan maybe
Hah
I noticed the LFA has had a larger following because newer tiktok car fans getting in
It's like this gen's MKIV Supra because it ended production 10 years ago and now everyone misses it even though nobody bought them

reminds me of this video
question
why not have both a supercharger and a turbocharger in the same car
and make the turbo so that u use it only when u need it
like in games, u store up a bit of that exhaust, press button, boom
It has already been done
it's heavy
it's complicated
There's always a tradeoff
those things need cooling
Oil channels and extra radiators specifically
so it will also be a taller engine. Walls are thinner. Thermal conductivity issues
sad
oh and pumps
what if you were making a truck
trucks don't need peak horsepower. They need torque
hmm
That's why they usually don't rev above a few hundred rpms
there was a Nissan that did it in the late 80s or so. Tiny thing. Most recently a VW that has done twin charge system (2018 maybe?)
and most notably the Group B Delta S4 by Lancia
They're really neat I know but these things usually just mean worse for internals because pressure demands means really thick seals for power applications
the point of twin charging was for linear power delivery.
https://youtu.be/gCE84wdOJOs and speaking of linear power. This is exactly how one gets linear power delivery --> High RPMs

one thing that surprised me in racing games
usually cars red line at around 7-9k rpm
but the Audi R10 the LMP car is at 5k rpm
Oh yes
there are some engines that just use torque and long ratio gears. No need for RPMs when it will rotate all 5k down the line just as efficient
what I'm saying is. That amount of torque from the engine doesn't require all the torque multiplying that normal gear ratios do. (I know you know this) but it's really neat to see.
Surprising even in an LMP racer.

apparently it was heavy and complex so people rather used radial engines instead
but it is used in the russian Armata tank
hmm
soo i'm debating between getting a 9th gen si or a 10th gen and i honestly don't know which one i want to get, can someone help me out ?
10th gen all the way in my opinion. Just better support and it's a 1.5L turbo with great fuel economy
yeah that is true , i do plan to drive long distances pretty often
i've heard some people get up to almost 50mpg on the 10th gens
I know a chap who gets 46 very consistently with spirited driving. 6MT and a slight tune
So he makes about 210PS wheel on "eco". On performance mapping it goes up to 240PS
is he on hondata or ktuner?
hondata ye
okay yeah i figured
Boost tune-ability out the box with a 10th gen is just better. The K24 in the 9th gen has to get supporting pieces since it's just a high compression NA 4banger
sips more fuel too though it makes the same torque. Only more statistical hp because it's rev range is 7200rpms to the L15B7's 6500. Meaning same force over a longer rev range
but who's in 6th in a race with a civic lol. You'd need an airstrip for that distance
right from what i've learned so far about the 10th gen platform i feel like i can get a bit more out of the car and still remain street legal, especially living in california lol
Stay frosty haha
Did the 190e codsworth always come in both auto and manual??
Saw one in nice condition but it was in Auto
Conversions are not uncommon. A lot of 190s get the panel treatment like a GTR would get Nismo pieces
but to answer simply. Yes they came in either variation.
apparently, they say that "there are more Cosworths than you think and also less Cosworths than you see" — what my MB club friends say a lot.
People think Cosworths were only manual, only the best. No, they had a good amount of variation. And some people call every 190 with a wing a Cossie 190Evo
Oh I c
Might I add. Only the Evo 2 had automatic as an option
the first version is strictly 5MT
Interesting
it's W201 things. So many engines

"Jet" usually refers to the style of fuel injection. Like Bosch K JetTronic or a ramjet aeroplane engine. It injects fuel leading into the combustion area usually in the manifold/intake runner right on top of the intake valve(s)
unlike diesel designs that use direct injection
which is what 80s Mercedes' used also from learning from their diesel designs. In direct injection systems, the fuel injector isn't on spraying fuel into the valve, it's in between the valves very close to the sparkplugs
is it a twin-bank? A V-configuration?
lemme check
oh no lol it's a 1.5L
it's an inline four
so dual jets...
strange wording

a suzuki K15 engine eh?
it's a 4 cylinder ye
doesn't mention configuration
the one we have is a manual
with this engine (Suzuki K series), with two injectors per cylinder (four). These are placed very close to the combustion chamber
it's an inline four yes
so it is what I thought was the other possibility
two injectors for each cylinder. Binary maybe
wow that is funky
One is smaller. Does the car have an economy mode?
ehhh
It would probably use one of the two injectors for that purpose
The market in India has a lot of really fuel efficient autos so it would only make sense
it has a mode called cruise control
where i think u put the car on 5th gear and it just goes
don't need to accelerate
i think
but my dad said it's waste of fuel, never understood what he meant
Hahaha it usually is the opposite
it depends on the gears. It usually puts it in an overdrive (below 1.00) gear ratio and idles at a set speed
I'm 99.9999999% sure I haven't seen a 6 on that gear shift
this could be a new model of the xl6
mine is a 2020 one
I misread haha. It's 5AT
it should be fine then
hmmmmmmmge
STOP THE LIES

huhhhhhhhhhhhh
The Tokyo Auto Salon is where the tuners come out to play, but lots of times the automakers themselves get to have fun too. Case in point: Toyota came to party at Japan’s version of SEMA (kinda, mostly) with not one but two powertrain-converted AE86s that don’t run on gasoline at all. One is a […]
4A ENGINE IN ALL IT'S HYDROGEN-POWERED GLORY
it's not translated
Hydrogen combustion is actually some 2-3 decades old.
So it's still young
Might I now add, the idea of hydrogen power has been around for more than 100 years
but never really executed
I dont think theyre overrated more than the fact that its the same product still
I honestly never seen hype around it on social media
You're kidding right?
this single vehicle here spiked it's popularity when it set a 1/4mile world record back in 2016-2017 or so
my bad 17-18
Every meme about seeing a GTR on slicks, velocity-stack trumpet inlets out the bumper, a wastegate out the hood or side, and a bird tail/duck tail spoiler has circulated for the past 4-5 years
I've never been on tiktok but the amount of link messages I was sent about "IS THAT GODZILLA?!?!???" is so unoriginal and played out like the supra memes of yesteryear
Mustve been on some UKsocial media
because I dont remember seeing that in US twitter or social
I dont know where youre getting your memes at
GTR and Supra fanboys always been annoying, I stopped after the first year
oooh yeah i like the rosewood
I enjoy it quite a bit
it's still packed with good technology as every Z had
and it's driving experience still as raw as the last
which is good
You think its worth to wait for the nismo version?
nope
Nismo is normally like 50hp more and widebodied right?
Or some changes to the handling for more race spec
not particularly any wider
maybe more aggressively styled with Rays Eng forged wheels and a few polished pieces in the engine
all things you can do with the performance trim of the current Z
and cheaper
Throw on some Volk Rays TEs like every other jdm turd, adjustable coils, a bolt-on exhaust, and it to run a 0.4 more bar boost with some OBD2 tuner thing and call it a day
it's a VR3X engine so it has the internals to take a bit of overboosting for the next 60k on the odometer
Boom 40 more horses + other interior swap pieces
more hrsprs
Im glad that theyre not getting an insane markup overhere
Supra is taking in all the attention
they aren't? Good
pretty sure the supe's got limited quantity hype
red badge and I6T only
no 6MT for the baby 4cyl

isn't the new type r getting like crazy markups
it is
I hope the boisterous FK8s get cheaper because of it haha
They were ricey. But with some revision it can be much better
i honestly didn't really like the fk8 at first but then after seeing them in person a couple times they grew on me
same thing with the 10th gen si coupe
true!
don't look at what was done to the chassis

EK2/EJ6 though. Pretty cool thing
HACHIROKU GOES ELECTRICKUU
...
WHAT
no no
Owo
Okay am rusty with my Hachiroku knawledge
noo you are all good

Bro how's that gonn work
Motor spins flywheel like any other
and the flywheel mates to clutch
super cool in my opinion
It's gonn like "weeeeeeee CHRUNK CLUNCK weeeeeee"
The only thing you gonn hear is the transmission and the road
there you go
it's a recycled 86 chassis so there is almost no normal sound deadening
you can sort of see it here. No fireproofing on the firewall of the frame
I imagine they are some 90 kilos lighter that way and without the normal seats + rears
@brave rampart hey do you know if your buddy that has a 10th gen has anything done as far as cooling (intake, intercooler, so on)? i've heard the heat soak gets pretty bad on the 10th gens
i'm sort of leaning toward adding an aftermarket intercooler to help w the heat soak especially considering since i live in ca and it gets real hot in the summer but i'm not completely sure
yes, PRL intercooler since it's about the only one that does decent aftermarket for the L series
got it
also. Heat soak is only so affecting on it because of the transverse layout and because of how close the transmission is in proximity to the engine. It's almost right under it and heat rises as we know
transmission heat just happens like in any other car in operation but it's what causes the minute soak losses
tis nice looking indeed
Terminator Spec
My goodness
the airbox scoop for the turbo does it for me
wastegate right into the passenger side of the glass is crazy too
I need to hear that thing
Sir is that all inlets?
Also what the heck is that exhaust placement?
....
Bro I don't even want to know how much torque this thing has
Turbo wastegate hehehe
crazy to see but a built HKS powered N1 forged block GT-R was worth 49k AUD only about 10 years ago.
Insane

[Official] Keiichi Tsuchiya, Keiichi Tsuchiya and the AE86 Street, let's go through the glittering lights of the capital. [4K ASMR]
<EXPLANATION>
The second stage of the series is finally here! Please enjoy it.
This time too, I'm silent without ...
Engine ASMR
that "oh shit" is real
Sweet sweet flachbau
very very nice
TBK the world
lovely
nice
"Blackbird" + RISE YOKOHAMA Porsche and the actual Yoshida Special (most recent)
you can tell not just by the TOWA BODY WORKS on the bonnet but also the lollipop seats
i love those old mid night club photos
No issues hahaha. It's just how it is now with the internet
misinformation makes it sound more like an underground club
i've heard some rumors that they're still around today? not sure if that's entirely true
Not a rumour at all LOL
They are very well up and about
The reddit story that popped up around the time of the pandemic about them is a complete travesty.
okay yeah i thought so LOL
woooow
that's awesome i didn't think they'd still have quite a few people still part of the team
the posts I send of built cars with silver stickers at various Japanese raceways are actual Mid Night Racing members' cars
and they go track their cars at dedicated places, they have for the last couple decades
do you mind sending those photos again ?
this is TIS in Hokkaido but here is one active Mid Night team car
some public roads shenanigans
this is what I mean by TBK by the way if you haven't already been bombarded by me
ahhh i see
they make the aero bumpers with the IPF big fog lamps integrated. It mimics the look of the 935 bumper
super cool to see some present day pictures of the team
looking through their official website right now
i just love seeing all the old pictures
so so nice
oh yeah i was just looking at the records
really impressive stuff especially considering the timeframe
And to think that the cars that set the early records were foreign (predating the founding of the group)
The late 70s early 80s cars were "only" hitting 240kmh
this account is a fan account but they have lots of good old stills
It's easy to see why some nerd made up an exaggerated story of it now hahaha.
some people are so obsessed with it and will defend the head-canon fairytales though
which is not the way to go
some poor kid read some millenial's fanfic about Mid Night Racing and made it into a reddit and then tiktok post though. It seemingly blew up out of nowhere
I really like Past Gas episode on it
Love the Altezza
Shame you cant find them in good condition over here
All “drift ready”
they got the info from the same folks that made https://open.spotify.com/episode/1j61w2SpFGg1P3Zlp8uXl7?si=237a1c456b8144bc
Listen to this episode from Zero Lift on Spotify. We have a very special edition of Zero Lift this week, Mid Night Racing Team (otherwise known as the infamous "Midnight Club") enthusiast Andy Carey joins us to talk about his personal experiences with the team and dispels some outrageous myths and rumors surrounding the team and era of high-spee...
Noice
EEEEUUUGH
There's a reason why the good amount of Japanese drift nearly to show spec quality cars
they believe cars have spirit. Some people even get them blessed by monks
Yeah, you feel the car speak to you
Not the typical “you feel the car” shit that manual guys always talk about
Manual fanboys are worse than the Supra fanboys, hell even the GTR fanboys
Only reason they got “I feel the car” no the fuck you dont
me wanting a nice car to commute in but it’s an automatic
manual fanboys coming in
It's fine as long as the clutch pressure plate isn't heavy
makes manipulation more tedious rather than just mandatory
Is Manual more fun in a AWD or is it the same shit?
It's arguably less fun without tonnes of torque
Whenever I think of AWD and manual,I think rally which is why I would get a manual,if it was in AWD
It takes more clutch slipping to get it rolling so more stalling
Oh really?
You got homies in Japan?
Was gonna ask if 911’s are more common in the meet ups over there
Saw a post about it but don’t know if it’s all cap
ye, you have to hold it in between that deadzone (because pedals are usually badly calibrated) and the bite point which can make it hitchy if you ever mate the clutch too soon
Damn
after you back out the pedal too much there's no going back in any manual either lol. The defeat of stalling will happen for everyone
especially lighter flywheels
Regardless if the car is light?
they were a hot import for a long time there. German cars are more common than other foreigns there for sure
But as for statistics, I don't count the cars that show up hahaha
The car being light is *mostly a factor in acceleration I would say. Unsprung weight of wheels, brakes, axles, driveshaft, grip of tyres, etc. I'm pretty sure makes up the majority of rolling resistance upon launch if I am not mistaken.
edited for more clarification^
That's retirement money in car form hahaha
I remember how good Cadillac Cien was in one of the Gran Turismos
but that car only stayed as a concept I remember that in he game it was something that could race even with cars like Zonda
I just need to be sure to get the corvette before then
That midlife crisis hits different
northstar engines were shit from what I remember
that's just down through the grapevine though, never worked on them but apparently the engineering was not great
rare when everyone says the most powerful trim was their most reliable car
I thought it used the LS block
Unless it is
Just different name
Don’t know much about GM
it uses a different block
cast aluminium
GM can pretty much never outdo their OHV pushrod motors in any way themselves
it's why they had Lotus make the quad-cam LT5 that was in the C4 Vette
Damn
I can't believe I have to tell a hardheaded VQ owner that owning a Subaru and then running catless is not good without supporting mоdification
Cheap bastard really
tl;dr running catless on a turboed car that has been built to run with a cat is horrible for the turbo.
Straight pipe is when you remove the cat right?
cat and muffler im pretty sure
Oh okay
what is a cat...
Exhaust has a lot to do with performance. Catbacks, Mufflers and resonators get all the attention, but the Catalytic Converter is super cool too! It’s an amazing design that changed the way we think about driving. Catalytic Converters have helped gas engines a viable means of transport while drastically reducing emissions. Bart cuts one ope...
i rlly like the science garage series
I figured it flies better with you lot
I wasn't going to give you the completely technical material-science video with historical stats that is almost 3x as long.
