there is engine failure at sudden, not with a bird though, still could be that, but 1: firm has prior incident of lying about an maintenence issue by calling it a bird strike, 2: the supposed bird strike should not have caused hydraulic gear failure so that the wheels failed to employ

I think there are some questionmarks for courts to sort out, like if you click an affiliate link from an influencer, you have no legal obligation to buy the product, and if you decide later to buy it you have no legal obligation to back and make sure that influencer gets a payment, you could search it up yourself or click on a honey link

thats not really a question mark, thats how last click affiliate marketing works
doesnt matter if you go back to the page to purchase something 2 weeks down the line after searching it up yourself, the affiliate still gets the sale as long as your cookie is in tact
the fact is that honey has done nothing but hijack the affiliate cookie

What I mean is if the honey user says "I want all the affliate income from me to go to honey, and have signed a contract saying so" and honey has some code that replaces cookies to make that happen, its unclear if there is any legal obligation for you to pay the original influencer.

Yea I agree in reality noone is gonna read dozens of pages of terms of service, but often courts will hold people to the terms anyway

Actually that makes me think of an idea for a business, an app that replaces all referral cookies with ones of your own, so you get 80% of any referral income of items you yourself buy, and 20% goes to the app or something.
Unclear if that business would be in breach of any law though
