they have a lot of laughs and giggles but there are moments where we realize that these characters are going through very much real heartfelt struggles

like that scene of anna crying on the rooftop just encapsulates everything i love about the show

the whole episode we just saw her complaining about getting dumped in a more light hearted manner

they managed to turn it into a funny situation

but then we realize that she very much is still struggling amidst all her jokes and gremlin moments

should note i'm probably incredibly biased, a show hasn't hit me this hard in awhile so when it does happen

i really consider it special

I also really didn't like that she told saki that the reason that she liked yuta was cause he was the first person to understand her, like is there really anything wrong with that? This one's a little more based on my personal experience but ive seen friends fall in love with a person because they helped them through a tough time and I don't really think there's anything wrong with that. Like i'm not gonna say that if they tried getting help from other people they'd fall for them too. The whole conversation just felt very forced and I didn't really like how the teacher came across||

I just finished it, ||man i'm really feeling a big mixed bag on this, first of all cram school girl is suddenly a psychic and understands everything he's going through. I really didn't like how they introduced new characters just for the sake of helping the siblings through their issues, and also they somehow managed to understand their whole situation while barely knowing them. Also the confession scene like early in the morning over breakfast was... a choice. I don't know it feels like for big moments like this you'd usually expect it to happen during a more significant event like an outing or festival. I don't want to be too critical of the studio cause they've done a pretty good throughout this whole season but their whole heart to heart conversation felt like it really lacked proper expressions and animations, it just felt a bit too static for all the emotions that it held. I just felt like the whole execution was kinda sloppy and wasn't quite what I had envisioned. On a more positive note, they did take a direction that I more or less expected, really liked that they both admitted they had no idea what to do with the current situation, but they promised to help each other regardless. Overall this show still is a big surprise of the season but these last two episodes did kinda hamper my enjoyment of it.||

and secondly for the confession scene, i felt like yuta just had to say it right then and there because it really looked like he couldn't hold that feeling anymore and just gave up into telling him especially when he saw saki walking with one of her classmates yk and its a boy too

the comforting scene was actually pretty great for me, yea i do see your point of the animation being stiff and whatnot but i really got caught up with the dialogue so i didn't have time to process those stuff or whatever but rewatching it i totally see the issue.

Overall this series needs a season 2, they cut out from what i heard from fans, right at the climax of this specific arc so i hope we get it sooner rather than later 🙏||

Also on the note of the comforting scene, the VAs did an outstanding job, I'm just a really visual guy when it comes to anime so when the animation doesn't quite live up to output the VAs are giving me, it kinda takes me out of it cause I really need both to do well for me to really enjoy the experience||

||shout out komari once again (best girl never will shut up about it) for standing in business on doing the report by herself instead of relying on others because of her social anxiety

yea nukumizu that's a red flag man, having no belief on a person trying so hard to get results while you just brush it because its far from perfection is just not it man so i understand komari being upset here

komari is getting the pressure onto her which most introverts just fear to see the day it happens, its such a hard task to take a major role and maintain the previous work of the person in which you are gonna need to carry now

well on a positive note, anna announcing that she lost 2 kgs from just eating those noodles will still be hilarious to me lol

what a W imouto kaju is man, even if she teases her big bro alot, she always gives nukumizu the light of solution that he needs to solve his problems (always right too even without knowing the context)

goddamn, i thought everything was gonna be smooth sailing for this final presentation but i should've expected it due to the tight schedule of preparations that were given.

komari's VA did such an amazing performance during the stairway scene, she's new to the job but did insanely well that it really felt that it was made by a veteran experienced person, i really gotta applaud that.

||I think nukumizu's flaw is that he tries to assume what's best for the other person and what they feel. It was the exact thing I pointed out awhile back when he was worried about the rumors being spread about him and Anna. Without communicating properly he just assumed that it would best if he stopped talking to her, all without taking into account her own feelings. Same thing here, but it's good that he's finally able to realize.

But holy crap that whole sequence of events with the 3 losing heroines hugging it out on the roof was so beautiful man, brought a tear to my eyes. Love how anna was just there throughout the ep without being too imposing on the situation, just eating her food and providing minimal support, that's my otter. Also yeah komari's stocks just shot up massively with this arc, was heartbreaking to see her so scared of losing everyone, glad to see that she knows that she has people she can count on.||

||yeah that was a freaking beautiful episode, got absolute chills. Admitedly the plot did get a bit stale in the middle, but the last few episodes have absolutely shot this show up in my books again, some great character development and the stakes of the show have completely risen. Animation can only carry so much and now we're finally getting more than just that||
