||he basically HAD to die, same reason as to why he had to be locked, any conflict becomes meaningless when Gojo is alive, so him dying does actually make everything more interesting. Akutami didn't need to assassinate his character by making him say that tho lol||

JJK ||yeah idk, him saying that is the worst part of the chapter to me :T also the circumstances of his death aren't really shown either, gojo should know that sukuna's gonna attack him because he has the six eyes, so he just tanked it? Was he tricked? Did he just underestimate Sukuna? If he did, then his dialogue after dying doesn't make sense either, cause he's like "he'd probably beat me anyways even without the 10 shadows, he wasn't really giving his all" so idk lol, doesn't really make sense, no matter how you slice it||
