I kinda liked the linearity / small open world that Tomb Raider and Rise of the Romb Raider had. Shadow of the Tomb Raider just kinda feels like it's being padded way too much with content I don't really care about, much more than in Rise where a lot of the content already felt a bit padding like

Ubisoft vibes of adding everything ever to the game so the 10 hour game turns into a 50 hour game

Graphics are amazing though and the gameplay is fun. But it just kinda started feeling like a chore to play

I'm thinking of maybe starting Dispatch next and then the RE remakes

shuhei yoshida said that he suspected the reason they didnt do anything with the bloodborne ip with another developer was because they respected that if someone did something with bloodborne it had to be fromsoft

iirc there were also rumors that old execs beefed with demon souls which is why dark souls ended up happening instead of continuing that relationship
