that being said, Yakuske seems to play more like the recent AC (Origins, Odyssey, Val) while Naoe is more back to stealth (assuming Mirage as I haven't played that one yet).

To be fair, the dialogue around the latest AC just has the DEI woke debate shit as an aside while there's legitimate issues with their shitty ass setting that Japanese people got mad at. Also Yasuke being black and Ubisoft deciding to make his bg music hiphop, cause you know, he's black.

Well, you're essentially the type of person they said would enjoy the game. You do only want more of brain off mostly unchanged subpar AC gameplay and it looking fancy. The story and writing being shit, Yasuke being a terrible fit for AC because the heads on fighting system just continues to suck etc doesn't matter to you, really. (and that's fine, we all consume some sort of slop )

At least they used the extra time to iron out the usual bugfest

According to Nintendo's own support, the Switch 2 Enhanced Editions were false advertising during the Direct. After trying to nail them down for an answer, they confirmed to one of our followers it's just Switch 1 cards with a code for the upgrade. No reason to buy these, then.

it's what DivCord would call Ubi trying to keep whatever profitable IPs afloat.

Massive has been running seasons, which are really replaying most of the missions (rehashing content) for a long while. it really needs a Div3 but the way the story (lol) and how they handled Div1 to 2 has been pretty sloppy.

that being said, not really expecting much from the new expansion

it is a roguelike

i was watching fury forged stream it the other day and he was trying to save scum and it doesnt really work anyway , so i guess it wouldnt be that bad if there was a save and quit

runs are only 15-20 minutes so its not that big a deal

not like gungeon/hades where it takes like an hour to get to the final boss even if youre good at the game

the game doesnt seem to use seeded randomness (outside of a handful of spoilery things that were the same each time) I think because your current layout + location on the board are big factors on what you can place down

Every single rougelike I have played lets you save & quit and when you return pick back up mid run though. Just seems like an odd decision for this game in particular

i havent seen it that much, but it is always better to have i agree, i guess its just for lore reasons

there isnt much penalty to restarting (unless you care about doing it in as few runs as possible)
