the other reason why I use a usb/dualshock is the joycons feel fragile to me and I prefer the DS4 with the back button attachment. the usb is $20-30 and since I have plenty of DS4 controllers, it's much cheaper than buying a Switch Pro controller.
also, depending on the usb adapter, you can use almost any controller to act as a Pro controller.
