I think they were removed mainly because Roblox forced them to do so.

this post isnt even directed at u since u arent even related to the team and i also have no idea why u copy and pasted the same thing way up there after i said "?" when i clearly wasnt asking for it. you really think when people say they are gonna be back in a minute they really mean it?? no. Im hoping someone from the dev sees this because im really confused as why were faces removed

I think it's a great idea, since that if Roblox really removed faces [i know they said, but] they will warn the date it will happen, and the devs could pre-remove them.

Alright, let me explain why they removed it in-depth:

So, as you know, Roblox is removing 2D Faces, which means deleting them off of the Marketplace fully, including from people’s inventories, Now, how Brookhaven gets its items for you to wear in-game (ie: accessories or clothing) is they pull whatever is currently available in the Roblox catalog. Once those items are deleted, Brookhaven’s avatar system can no longer grab them, and as a result are removed. Now, once that happens, the face tab that once was there, will be empty, and it will be pointless to keep there. So as a result, why keep a tab that’s empty? So, they decided to remove it.

This IS NOT Brookhaven’s fault, but rather instead Roblox’s. Brookhaven didn’t remove it because they were forced to, Roblox did not force them, they were removed because they would eventually be deleted, like explained above. Therefore, they can’t physically bring them back, so I’m sorry, but accounting for technical possibilities, this just isn’t feasible.

Nobody really knows how the 2d faces are gonna be deleted. The decals may still be left in the site, and did brookhaven remove faces too when they announced the same thing like 5 years ago?

Yeah sure "he's gonna have a hard time understanding" thats pure bs idk whats hard to understand here. we all know faces were removed from brookhaven but it wasnt because of technical issues. 2d faces are decals. you are still gonna be able to use them in games that have them even after the update released which it probably wont because of all the hate it has received

I understand your point, however, first, they can just use the penultimate version of the game, and add back the changes, or simply add an new category for a browser fueled classic face category [just like the bodies category] and second, i find it very unlikely for Roblox not to allow it, since, after the chat restriction and other games implementing their own chat [like Stop! (categories)], and besides, it's just 2D faces, with not really a reason for Roblox to prohibit it from being introduced in games [or experiences according to them]
