The caption says it all.
I will list the pros and cons of this change and how it could affect the game.
this would be REALLY useful because many roleplay games above 10k+ concurrent players have their max player limit above 21. (i listed them all at the end and their player limits are 23 to 30.)
here are the cons and pros about this suggestion
PROS
There are 37 plots in total and 10 of them are gamepass plots. this means that there is always 4 to 14 plots being empty no matter what since the player limit is 23.
More players mean a busier roleplay. it makes the game feel more alive
This makes it easier to find people to roleplay with.
This also means bigger events (school RP, town roleplays, family roleplays) feel fuller
Keeps servers from feeling “dead,” boosting engagement
More chances for fun encounters
CONS
i will also write how to reduce or avoid the cons.
1- More lag and slower loading, especially for players on mobile
2- more players in a server mean harder moderation and more trolls and griefers.
3- Crowded spawn areas can cause chaos or confusion
4- Chat gets spammy making it harder to follow roleplay conversations
how to reduce or avoid the cons:
1- i dont think that more players will cause so much lag since brookhaven is a low poly game and a roleplay game. meaning that game lagging doesnt affect gameplay most of the time.
2- we already have an upcoming update for deleting props on the houses, so i dont think this is much of an issue.
3- disabling prop placement at spawn area is a choice but i like placing props at the spawn area since people are crowded there. idk if this would be a big issue or not.
*4- idk if theres a way to reduce the chatlog speed but there is a way to reduce bubble chat dissapearing speed. the bubble chat is configurable on roblox studio.
-Big RP games and their player limits:
Berry Avenue: 30
LifeTogether: 28
Metro Life: 23
NewSmith: 25
