The staff team would love to host a wider variety of games for the community, but most private servers require robux, and we don’t want to burden the team with covering all of them. (We're broke)
To make this possible, I would like to allow community members to donate private servers for gamenights in exchange for recognition. It’s a way to help the community have more fun while also giving a little shout-out to those who contribute.
It could work with a google form as simple as:
- Game name
- Private server link
- Proof of ownership
- Date of expiration (if any)
And then the approved servers can be sent to a database for the staff team to use during gamenights.
The private server donator could receive a role with some perks, called Community Supporter (can always change.) And a shoutout like "Big thanks to ___ for the private server!" when we're shouting the template for the gamenight.
I think this encourages a really good sense of teamwork and shared experience in our community, and it's also a solution that's worked first hand in a server I used to assist in managing. Our staff team can host more games, donors get recognition, and our community has more fun. Everyone wins here
