My suggestion:
I really wish Brookhaven would release a house saving update. It would be amazing to have a feature that lets us save every detail of our setup—like house props, furniture placements, vehicles, color themes, and even the music we choose. Right now, every time we leave the game or switch houses, we have to redo everything from scratch. It gets tiring having to remember where everything went or what vibe we were going for. A save system would make it so much easier to switch between styles, revisit our favorite setups, or just pick up where we left off. It would add so much convenience and creativity for roleplay and make the game feel more personal. Brookhaven needs this kind of update!

More information:
The house and car saving system in Brookhaven should work just like the avatar outfit loader. It should let us save different setups with one click—like props, car placements, house colors, and even music. Then we could load everything back instantly without having to redo it all every time. Just like how the outfit loader saves our look, this could save our vibe. It would be so much easier to switch between themes, like a party setup, a cozy home, or a roleplay scene. Having multiple saves would make everything smoother and more personal. This kind of feature would take Brookhaven to the next level.

A wise developer told me:
Yeah, I don’t know why they still didn’t add house prop saving either. It really doesn’t seem like it would be that advanced. Even if it takes months, they should still work on it—it’s something that would make a huge difference. Saving car position, color, and style would complete the whole house setup. It’s weird having to respawn everything every time. If they ever do add it, I feel like it could lead into something bigger, like a memory save update where past builds and moments become part of your Brookhaven story.

I really love this idea! It's definitely something that's on our mind to create. We totally get the frustration that comes from placing tons of props, setting up your roleplay, and then having to do it all over again.

A few clarifying questions:

  • Do you think there should be multiple save state type mechanics? Feels like there is a need for:

    • Map (props)
    • Specific Houses
    • Specific Cars
  • Any ideas on how to limit it so we don't have mutliple systems? Would it be OK if you had a few save slots for houses / cars? (e.g., you pick 3 of your favorite and the specific house / car + any props you apply within it / touching it would be kept)

I do think multiple save state types make sense—like Map (for props), Specific Houses, and Specific Cars—but instead of making them separate systems, they could all be combined into one. It could work like the avatar outfit loader, where each save slot stores a full setup: the house, props placed in or around it, the car nearby, the house color, and even the music. I think having save slots is a good way to keep things organized, but 3 wouldn’t be enough for most players who like to switch between lots of different setups. Something like 5 to 10 slots would be more flexible, or even just a system where you can name and manage saves easily. That way people can build more scenes, save their favorite roleplay styles, and come back to them without having to rebuild everything every time.
