Today's (2nd November) Flash Quest is showing as completed for me even though I haven't sent any teams out at all to it. I mean it'd be pretty hard to have cleared this fast anyway without rushing (and I don't think people are blowing gems on this one) - might be tied to there being the event flash quest running as well?

The flash quest showed as completed for me as soon as it spawned - I have 4 slimer quests left to claim that were already completed so I'm wondering if they've been counted as progress towards today''s flash

I've informed QA about the issue. Won't know more until at the very least tomorrow, but in any case, once we verify it's not a repeating issue (or that it's fixed) I'll push for us to re-run the Flash Quest.

To provide an update to this issue:
Unfortunately, it's looking like this issue will require a client update to fix. Further investigation is still ongoing, but currently given the low reproduction rate internally and the risk of causing more harm, the fix will likely be relegated to the next client release unless more high severity issues surface.

Once I have a fuller understanding the entire situation (cause, resolution and deployment), I'll speak with the rest of the team on what to do for the future, whether that be general compensation or re-running every affected flash quest next month (i.e. double the flash quests).

Only the Bjorn one open for me, no slimers running (90% certain about that)/pending. Last Flash quest I did the two attempts and skipped the Bjorn one (due to skill issues). Maybe it simply doesn't reset the last runs results?

Only just noticed this. Haven't done any Slimer quests since yesterday. I didn't notice this 2 days ago, but in hindsight, the golem didn't even appear for me - I was running quite a few Slimer quests then.

Bugged here also. I wasn’t aware that there was an enchantment flash quest until a guildmate told me there was a previous one. Running slimer quests constantly through the day.

This sigil quest came with full complete progress and cannot be attempted for me

While an actual fix for this issue isn't going to come until the next client update scheduled for the later half of this month, the cause of the issue does seem to be an interaction with the slimer flash quest. Given that, it should self-resolve once the Ghostbusters community event ends which is much sooner than the client update.

Once the work week begins, as I mentioned before, I'll talk with the team on what kind of compensation we should/can do in the future to make up for this. As with all compensation, I don't expect it to appease everyone but we should do something in the very least, even if that's just re-running the affected flash quests twice.

I have no screenshot but want to upvote this. Didn't even get to see the moonstone golem. Only got one try on the sigil flash Quest, submitted a ticket, got a response five days later with advice that can't help me now 😭

Same here. I've been hitting Slimer quests pretty hard and didn't notice all tries on the Merchant flash quest were completed until this post. I'm looking forward to your decision!
