#Roster help - salvagable or retire eventually?

Oh okay! Hello again Yuki, thank you for replying once again ☺️
Neither of us are planning to get Mundra and Roland (yet), but maybe if we're still active in 3-4 months haha
Oh, hi! Sorry but I can't remember everyone I helped!
For a pre ML 53 roster, this is easily one of the better rosters I've seen!
No changes need to be made to any of your heroes, just keep at it and check their next skills
No totally it's okay! I'm just thankful lmao
That said, none of your current heroes stand out as they are, so don't invest anything like
into them!
If you're thinking about long term, maybe really down the line when you're a much higher level, that changes things a bit.
These heroes have massive potential depending on what you get in their third skill slot
- d-knight
- d-ranger
- o-ranger (Especially this one)
But o-druid does fit the criteria to be a promotion candidate since they currently have everything you want in a damage dealing class!
Thank you once again!
No problem! Please feel free to ask any follow up questions :D
I'm more than willing to answer any questions you may have 😊
Actually, how does one know if a hero is titan soul worthy?
Great question! Here's an article that talks all about it
But the TL;DR is that a hero needs to meet these criterias
- Has learnt all of the skills they naturally can
- Has all the tools for them to do what they want to do
As for which heroes you want to promote and in what order, that gets a bit more complicated!
Rule of thumb for promotions
- T1 / T2 classes (promotion absolutely mandatory)
- T3 / T4 attackers (Huge benefits from the survivability bonuses and access to skill 4)
- Ninja / Spellblades (Boosted innate makes a big difference)
- T3 / T4 Fighters (They're fine for a long time, but access to skill 4 helps a lot)
- Everybody else
Oh...maybe i should have waited until everyone's 23 lmao
Do note! You should not follow this exactly as it is. Example, do not hire a T1/T2 class just to promote them because the rule of thumb says that they need it more than T3/T4 attackers
Likewise, do not promote a T1/T2 hero that you have that are weak over a T3/T4 hero that you have that's strong
Using your roster as an example. It would be a mistake to promote d-thief over o-druid even though the rule says T1/T2 needs it more than T3/T4 attackers
Also can a good-rolled barb/chieftain go toe to toe with a good rolled berserker? Honestly want to have a barb/chief instead of a berserker
Oh...I think i made this mistake with o - chieftain
I actually prefer Chieftain over Berserkers too!
What's done is done, but lucky for you, the chieftain you have is pretty decent
Ignoring S3 (You couldn't have known that S3 would roll bad before you promoted them)
I wait for s4 before i roll s3 right?
Simply because of their higher threat from their innate ability and decent amount of damage
Absolutely!
Honestly want to have a barb/chief instead of a berserker
However, one thing to note, Berserkers are able to have all four skills naturally while a barbarian needs the titan soul
So for this reason, you should be getting berserkers rather than barbarians (Once you are Merchant Level 53 of course)
Okay..
Here are some quick tips!
Important right now
- As many fighters as your number of quest slots
- Similar number of spellcasters and rogues
- Don't touch T1/T2/T7/Spellblades/Samurai until you're done with rule 1 from "Important for later" and have heroes with strong skills
Important for later
- At least three heroes for each element
- Each element should have heroes from two different archetypes covering it
Note:
- T1 heroes = Soldier, Thief, Mage
- T2 heroes = Barbarian, Monk, Cleric
- T7 heroes = Dark Knight, Velite, Chronomancer
i will take this to heart
Thank you yuki! Will close the tab now, will ask once again when we gain a few more levels!
Anytime~
