The search feature works fine for checking my inventory in shop, but when I go to the market and try to create an offer or a request, I can't use the search feature for items. It does work for enchantments, and components, but not items. I can click create offer, search button, and apply; but search results will pop up empty even though everything should pop up since I didn't use qualifiers.

Not being able to use the market effectively is severely crippling me. Can we get confirmation that they'll do a hotfix when they figure out how to fix the problem? At this point, I seriously wish they would just backtrack to the old version of the game. The improvements of this patch aren't worth the problems.

I just go with Sort by: Most Recent without filter and try to find what i wanted that way.
I have over 400 locked items, finding anything specific without filter is just pain. I hope devs sort this out with emergency patch, and not with next regular patch.

Most devs will hot patch a bug that costs the company. Ones that impact players isn't as high a prioirty.
I do expect this is higher than some other past flaws since it is a serious interruption to functionality.

I mean, that argument could be made, but when you consider the bugged requirement for that task asked for 25% of the guild total needed to finish the entire event, it's pretty apparent everyone involved would know and feel it's obscenely unreasonably difficult, hence it being changed before the content pass expires. Moreover, I'm confident that the thought of, 'Oh no, we'll miss a few Mega Pack sales if we don't fix it!' hadn't ever crossed anyone's minds at Kabam Montreal when implementing the fix.
But more to my previous comment, I remain with my statement that the bugged task requirements did impact players first and foremost, at least in the sense of gameplay feel and not providing an enjoyable experience with the pass for all the players who'd normally be able to complete that task.

Oh, dang this actually works. Which is not only helpful for helping people to search for items though the bug, but also means that the devs should probly be looking at how enchantments are affecting market searches as that's likely the source of the bug.
Can somebody tell the devs about this? Also, Paul's post should probly be pinned somewhere to let people know about how to work through this bug if that info isn't already pinned somewhere.

This would probably explain why high tier items are having a hard time selling on the market since people are having trouble finding them. I was wondering why my flawless nightwing bolts were not selling for days at a time even at a low value.

Yeah mate, that's the issue. Today is actually the 7th day.
A lot of us rely on Market Requests for filling champ requests, getting precrafts, and earning gems. I haven't seen any recognition there is even a bug.
I'm subscribed so I've been paying to not play. I make Market Requests every day and also send out my teams multiple times per day. Neither of these things is working and it's putting a major cramp in the game for a bunch of people.

Ah well, that might need to be a larger post then because the thread you're in they have a pretty quick turn around in getting that addressed and upcoming resolution.

as acutely pointed out by Jackal, the bug is fixed internally and is being finalized before being pushed. This bug requires a client update in the form of a hotfix, which typically include multiple bug fixes as the process for those (as compared to simple server updates) are much more complicated and take considerably more time to go through the necessary internal checks and then the approval process by the platforms. For this reason we attempt to push as many bugfixes as is reasonably possible at the time. If this bug could've been resolved with a simple server update, rest assured it'd have been addressed earlier.

Awesome. I'm glad to hear from Staff on this issue. A fix will be very well received.
In future, when the game is this negatively affected by an update, an in-game mail acknowledging that the issue(s) are known and being worked on would be extremely appreciated by all users. None of this was handled well. A simple "We know and are working it message!" which has been done before goes a long way to cooling frustrations. Requiring users to join a Discord server and be subjected to genius comments such as "I'm not sure what you want" is the opposite of the way you want to go here.

Not sure if this was reported but lower level players CANNOT search their own inventories for items, a level 65 player can’t search their inventory for t14 items. They can see them if they scroll through, but as soon as they filter, t14’s will be excluded
