Could you send a picture of the hero in question please (with its equipment page showing)

And you didn't change anything else at all on the hero? Like didn't use dice on another skill slot or anything?

Cause the only thing that I can think that'd cause such an attack drop (presuming equipment wasn't changed) is if you had a +atk skill in another slot and then changed that for something else (due to how attack is calculated you'd lose a lot having done so)

If you're certain the only thing you changed on that hero was the first skill and it had a much higher attack value before I would open a ticket with support as that's going to need QA to investigate your hero
