Warlock and monks are the ones affected less looks like, so it feels like that is the issue

This one is actually correct. So it's gotta be something to do with the skills since this has no attack skills

the number should be much higher and glowing
I feel that it is correlated with anything that scales on equipment (skills, passives etc)

Yeah having this issue as well, my grandmaster star power dropped approx 80k with update
so that there's no doubt on weapon skills. unless I am really bad at math.
lord defense went from 20k to 10k so its not just weapon skill
and star power down 30% give or take they were almost 90
I think the shield skills are affected too
sensei attack power more than cut in half
down from 110k star to 70k
guessing maybe its marksman that got wrecked because my wanderer also down from 90k to 47k
My druid increased its power, the only hero that did afaik
The majority of my heroes are down 10-20% but my sensei is down over 120k power. (Roughly 50%)
Acrobat went from 287k to 90k ggs

it basically looks like the weapon skills are broken, if it's not already been said
It's more gear-boosting stuff in general cause the lord innate is also affected

Ah, was just checking it on my Conquistador as I get the same attack value if I remove the elite weapon skill
i've also seen up to 50% drop in hero power depending on the hero.. i'll leave some pictures of the skills in case it helps debugging
It says 175/180 but the skills are t4. when i tap on them it resets to 175/170. Maybe they are increasing the element and there’s a bug

Yeah that's fair. I was around before rank 4 skills, or even rank 3 epic...so it was a bit more nuanced back then. Then it's just 2 affinity (3 for t7 heroes). Now it's...no affinity necessary
But yeah, the element is working fine. The other stuff above that is bugged and they're aware! So hopefully it'll be resolved "soon"

The question is, is it safe to do quests? I mean one thing it's the interface number wrong, another thing is the damage be affected in quests, if so it would be harder to do quests...
It's safe in that there's no new side effects. However, your heroes are weaker for now
i had a quest going from before the update when i updated the game i ended up failing the quest i was like damn well that new turn out it was cuz of the bug
yah iv got as few heros on 18+ hour rests now failing extreme bosses i started just before lcog ended
Is the TL;DR for this thread that there are bugs with equipment and skills and that it's not an intended change in difficulty?

I can confirm that:
- Grandmaster innate does not increase stats from rings after patch.
- Arch Druid innate does work as normal.
- Spellknight innate does work as normal, both the elemental specific part of it and the non-specific part.
This is a bug that makes me think this game is not worth touching anymore...
All of my heroes are cut half.

Well, I heard (but never done the math myself) if you go for components without feathers medium is the most efficient way to collect em.
if you can fuse, chests should be cheap and an hour or less fusing something you lack will only slow you down a bit. I am bad at it, but having a good sack of chests + stones for every level is never bad
(unless you do not have mundra then ya blarg)
It will be harder and slower to replenish Quest only components due to reduced Hero power. Weaker Heroes take longer to rest if not using Feathersor Stamina Drinks. Also some difficulty levels may no longer be doable.
Which difficulty are you capable under normal circumstances? And do you normally use feathers?
I must admit I am one of these “high level players not minding to spend money” so I do have 5 maxed trunks and a quite comfortable stack size of 935 - which also admittedly very likely overflows (as other inventories tend to do)…
I also have 5 maxed trunks, well until the new update came and I have 1184 capacity in storage and racks.

I can usually do Extreme on most except Elysium and I don’t usually use Feathers .
But as all but 2 of my Heroes which were all previously over 100k, are now below 100k power, their performance is severely reduced.
I have focused on Questing talent tree so most of my gold comes from selling loot earned from Quests.
normally i can do beal spire on extreme
now i only have 2 groups that can even do it on easy
im getting gear breaks left and right even doing haunted extreme
because all fights lasting 20 freakin rounds
Thats why I hinted if one quests ONLY or mainly for components without feathering extremes - try normal and the resting times as a temporary workaround.
couldnt do any bosses past cronos on extreme
cant even do bleak boss on normal
my tanks went from 30k defense to 10k defense they just get 1 hit on anything now.
Kabam MIGHT throw an extraordinary mini event in again like last time when heroes got undressed on quests.
we will see, but them finding a fix then compasting for it after is best
well considering i have basically an entire l;ost day of questing now

when you do haunted mansion on normal and it costs you 3 repair packs or 30 mil to get 2 mil worth of components

I just sent down a party to the sunken temple boss - lets see how they manage for me, but I am more after the key than the components
tired of losing money from quesitng because all my dps hit like wet towels and my tanks crumple in 1 hit and i get 2-3 gear breaks every quest when i should get 0-1 on extreme and im forced to do easy and still get more gear breaks losing tons of money to quest so basically no questing for me i guess
I had a team do fine with the Elysium bos hard and do onk, thought till the fix I have 1 team that cna do that
while one team would be needed, it is kid of limiting
still as I was earlier yeatersday at this point

Are you crafting T11? In case you are collecting components for selling, sunken temple went for max gold in requests about an hour ago. Blackspire I didn’t check since that boss is not yet open but I am well over 1k with some of that components
I HAVE to sell those if I dont want to have em overflowing.
i am crafting t10 and fusing using t11 mats but i can do neither because i cannot quest and i cant keep all my trade slots full with material requests or my inventory will max right out and its taking 8-16 hours to fill coral requests
and i was in the process of max leveling lava and bleak still on lvl 20 for bleak cant even run lava on easy now
And of course you cannot postpone maxing the dungeons until it’s fixed if I understood you right. I am just trying to explain possible workarounds until it’s fixed.
i am 100% out of bleakspire materials and sunken materials
so while yes i am trying to max it im also using the materials. the workaround is i either lost money or i lose money so its not a workaround really
What about buying materials from the market? Not perfect, but could still be worth it
Same with working together with you guild mates. Maybe they still have teams that can run certain dungeons, and you can request the materials from there. You can do the same for a different dungeon for them. Not perfect, but may mitigate the ‘damage’ some
its not its a loss of gold and its taking way too long to fill for t10/11 resources especially coral its all good il just close the game and come back when they fix this maybe

I think this is about your coding how weapon/equipment skill get in to account
there's 2 modifier, equipment modifier skill (like adding 250% def from shield, 250% from melee weapon) which only adding value from directly from equipment, and atk/def modifier skill (like add 100%atk value)
i think before the game calculating value from equipment modifier first then adding whole atk/def from other source (like raw atk, atk from premium equipment etc) then MULTIPLY with atk/def modifier skill
in this patch, they MULTIPLY atk/def modifier skill first with raw atk+equipment atk, then ADDING atk from equipment modifier skill,
this make the value smaller, because instead multiplying it, it only adding the value on last calculation
i hope they fix it immediately because many heroes relly from equipment modifier skill like supreme wand titan (bronze) or ascended archmage (gold skill) which adding whooping 250% value from weapon
A simple 'we are aware of the situation' would make this much clearer. Heck, this is the 2nd time since i played where heroes are affected by an update that doesn't change any of the hero mechanics. Major cap that a bug like this slips twice back to back and not be notice during beta testing

yeah,, i simply use usual heroes for t14 for extreme, but my lord is having sad face
, which is rare, her defense is outstanding, she is the most happy in most extreme (with elemental value already fulfilled) and my spellknight too
also lower damage means longer fight means more items to break
I hope they give more repair kit as compensation

It is tested, but sometimes bugs only happen on live servers. They could do a maintenance and pull the game down I guess. But that would mean a downtime of multiple hours while they fix any bug they find
im all for a few hours off time to fix the major issues they have, as half of the gameplay is now gone
The time they need won't be shortened if they take the servers offline. It would be worse. Now we can atleast play while they fix the bugs.
they have hte fix they just didnt push the hotfix because they clearly dont give 2 shits about a large portion of thep layer base being unable to play. to them it appears to be just another cosmetic bug wel push it when we get around to it. really starting to sour my taste for this game

Orrrr it's because getting updates out requires approval from not one, but all platforms.
bro the approval process is automated and ios is the only one that takes more then a few minutes which is why when they push a patch it takes ios the longest to get the update. it dosent take 2 days sorry.

You came in here and immediately started trashing the game. No one's making you play the game and they're clearly working on it and updating the page as they go to keep us informed. They have a process they have to go through before it's released. You have nothing valuable to add and at this point you're bringing in arguments that have nothing to do with the game, the recent update, or the bug to attempt to attack my character. perhaps instead of acting like a keyboard warrior u cud look on the brighter side. this bug affects any hero worth his salt, which is probz 99% of hero's. thats pretty funny. i do hope they fix it soon tho 🙂
you can bet if it was something that broke the payment process and money stopped flowing it would be fixed within the hour
hard to hold new players in the game when the end game is unattainable at all even over the course of years without having a saudi bankroll

and this game then seems to be the only one with that issue. other games i play on multi platforms say its taking forever when its over an hour for approval to push the patches. they havnt even pushed it yet.
idleon for example on all platforms steam epic ios and google takes on average 5 minutes to get a hotfix out

i really dont understand all the moaning. the only issue thats really affecting my game is no bonus from wep skills. its not gonna kill me to wait a cpl of days for a fix. and btw, new players aint gonna feel this affect so will play happily unaware

I still remember the unsightly horror when we found them (my heroes) outside Elysium Extreme, shattered and broken in despair.. it was supposed to be a typical errand of collecting components for the King's Caprice, alas they succumbed to the debilitating 17.0.0 curse..

Just noticed my sensei is still weaker than before the past update. Gear and skills haven't changed. I just added 5 levels to her and she is still weaker than before. Looks like it's still the weapon skill bug.

I noticed that Hit chance and evasion was more than expected, so it has to be fixed, that's true. Ninja were very overpowered, but .... the fix made them probably one of the weaker rogue class now. Before my 3 ninjas were killing everything, now they have 75% chance to die before end of fight.
My understanding is nothing changed with the ninja, their actual stats are still the same, the power rating was just artificially high. But for questing they are the same.

Sorry, as i'm not english maybe i don't understand well. I understand that power rating calculation changed and the stats didn't changed, it was computed with 100% crit and 75% evasion. But .... before my ninja were 75% crit chance but acting like 100% crit, il means that they were making crit all the time, and evading 75% even if they had 50%. What i noticed personaly, because i watch fights to optimize and balance my teams, is that before the fix all my ninjas had the behavior of a 100% crit and 75% evading, not only on power calculation, but really in fights. So they were very overpowered. What i observe with the fix is that they use their reals stats now, so for me between 75 and 85% crit and 45-50% evade for my 3 ninjas. So they are very less efficient in damage and they nearly always die because 45-50% evading is not the same at all as 75% and with their low health points they die with 2 shots each time. What i'm saying is that before, the bug was not only on power rating but also on real behavior in fights, from overpowered, they became weak.
Ninja's are squishy... Mine never dies though and I only run Elysium extreme. I would definitely recommend going with more Hit Point gear if you can.
