#Floor texture edge flickering/transparency

Happens randomly between floor tiles when camera moves around, under various zoom but most importantly camera must be perfectly parallel to outside horizontal wall (or road). With such setup it's a laser show every few seconds when naturally interacting with customers. Lines span across the whole floor of the shop, quickly appearing/disappearing as camera pans. Under different orientation flickering pixels appear instead, along same horizontal lines. Only noticeable under "Low" quality preset, presumably because no Anti-Aliasing. Some floors are more affected than others, this one is "Creaky Floor Boards" (my attempt at dark mode). Issue only started as of latest Bard update.
There's a technical term for it but can't remember the name. It was common in racing games where it appeared on road surfaces.

Have the same issue. Happens nearly every time when moving from city to shop, and at other times in the shop as well after some form of interaction.

I'm playing in windowed mode. Quality Low, HUD Size Normal. Enhanced VFX Disabled.

Just a bump, wondering if this is going to be investigated or not? This isn't an occasional flicker, it happens quite regularly while interacting with the game.

From personal experience and from what I've read, this channel isn't meant for actual bug reports but rather to gather community support to shine light on it and then maaaybe it gets looked at after one of the staff forwards it to tech team. Exceptions are easy problems that don't require advanced troubleshooting.

When I find the time I'll contact support directly via a ticket and see what comes off it. I suggest you do the same and link this thread just in case. It's annoying to deal with both the bug and lack of acknowledgment. Since there's only two of us we may have to come up with a compromise on our own and just live with it.

I mean it's tagged as investigating mate i'm not sure what else you're expecting

Yeah I didn't see the tag. That's reassuring, thanks for letting me know. In that case I suppose we just wait, no need to file a ticket for the time being.

Reason I missed the tag was because it's not showing anywhere in this topic after being redirected here directly from followed bug threads. One needs to go up a level and browse the whole bug section to have any hope of seeing it (assuming the thread was recently bumped and near the top).

I mean, that's obviously a discord thing, not a Kabam thing...

I just clicked straight on the recent post without going through the main bugs and issues channel.

There you see if it is being investigated

Not in the post itself

#

But yea, discord should add it under the actual title post as well in the post itself
