I just mastered the Platinum Secret map and attempted to donate what I could to the book and it will not allow me to use the locked ones in my inventory.

it also doesn't work for normal items at all, with or without a warning. It doesn't give an option to donate locked items period. The second sentence in Richards reply makes it seem as if he is talking about the popup warning, not the ability to donate locked items

Yeah IDK, some people say restarting the device fixes it. And it did for me, for existing locked items. But new locked items ie, the garlic, needed another reboot

well i could donate at least some locked item i had after update for mastered blueprints but since then i mastered new one and cant see locked items

Just updated app and then got a legendary. Can't donate it. And your reporting system in game crashes when uploading attachments.

Can confirm that this did not work for me on veggie kebabs when first mastering. Rentering collection book and it works for quality items. but not when first mastering.

Confirmed for latest version on iOS. Just mastered some blueprints and can’t donate locked items into book

There are 2 interfaces. the first is the item specific interface, this comes up when you first master it and go to donate items immediately or if you select a specific item in the book. that donate interface still has the trouble with locked items not appearing. the second interface is the general donation interface, selecting donation from the book. in this interface locked items do appear.

Actually my issue seems to have been that i just mastered the blueprint. A guildmate mentioned it was working fine for him with items that he already had locked in his inventory during the last bug.

Not sure which thread or channel it's in at this point. But the outcome is that you can donate locked items like before. However you can't donate locked items from the screen that pops up when you master a blueprint and click on the book from there. Have to back off that screen and then go to the book

this is still "broken" - I will say though once you have donated the first item(or even if you have nothing to donate) , continue on through to the 'view rewards' section and then the locked items will show up like they normally would have in the first screen. Its a pain, but at least you don't have to go back and find them in your inventory.

just bought an item for my collection, locked it and it shows normally on the collection donate screen
so it's fixed, at least for new items
I already moved all other locked items to collection before the update came out (inventory > check item > unlock it > donate > lock again)

it happens when you first complete the recipe so your example would not actually be a valid example of showing it being fixed or not. When you first finish the recipe and it brings you to the collection book, the locked items are still not showing up. They will however show up once you go past the first screen where the "view rewards" and "donate" button are - if you click that donate button the locked items are then available to donate without having to go through your inventory.
