User JoQher#88081. Post patch, daily "sell" tasks are asking for items I do not have. Ex; I have a sell task for selling 5 soulstone rings but only have 1 in my inventory.

it's new behavior to me. i do daily tasks daily and have never experienced this
a few people in my guild have also commented on it
if the sell tasks start requesting things i dont have, they sort of become crafting tasks

It was changed somewhen. The sell tasks should prefer items one has in stock if they didn't revert that change again.

hmm. well, if i have to craft to sell for the sell task, i don't see that the two tasks are different.
and it actually makes the sell tasks worse now. why would i ever do them in lieu of just doing craft tasks?

Technically you could buy them but i don't think They changed that intentionally.

I've been playing for over a year, and this is the first time it's ever asked me to sell something I don't have. It feels like a bug, or a poorly thought out change.

I have recently noticed the same. I am quite sure it only did give you tasks for things you have on stock.

Soul stone ring is a chest bp, right? Could this be a same bug affecting the champion requests? Champions now asking for chest bps.
