I just need to have a moan and let off steam, feel free to scroll on!
For me, this update sucks. I feel I’ve dropped down several levels and I don’t like it. I’m level 70. My main gripes are that there’s a dungeon I can’t get into (5000 gems/4.5G- seriously ??!) resources I can’t fit into my shop (already full and again too expensive to expand) and loads of BP I need to unlock with scarce resource scrolls. I can no longer get decent scores in bounties because I can only do 2-trophy bounties now. And I suspect my event scores will likewise be hobbled. So I’ve gone from enjoying being a high level end game player, to back into the struggling stage. It has totally changed how I see the game. Im no longer enjoying it. I’ll give it a couple of weeks but suspect unless I catch up quickly I’ll drift away to other games.

It's a new difficulty, in terms of dungeons and resources, I don't think many people expected it to be accessible or easy.

4.5G took me 2 or 3 days and I'm level 74, and I used gems for a shop expansion, which I save from RM rewards in events. I could've removed a rack if I wanted too for make way for the beacon.

3 trophy bounties are still easy, and you can still craft lower tier moonstones or elements for those, which I did today.

Maybe it's time to think about how you can make money more effectively in this game?? It'll help you more than just unlock T13.

Hate to say, but if 5g is too much gold, t13s too hard to craft, etc then I think you were not yet actually in late game. Keep progressing and all these things will be easy when you’re ready.

Im level 72 and got that 4.5G in 2 days, now farming that dungeon with 7x teams. Shop expansion should be done with gems after some point, 64 or something I dont remember. So what I mean is: I don't know who told you that but you are not a high end game player. If you were, you shouldn't be struggling with these stuff

I think a new bin without giving us more space is not a great decision.

As for the bin situation. It isn’t all that bad. I just ditched the bins I don’t need for example new spell doesn’t need oil. So I put them away. All the other bps that need oil or steel I mastered. I don’t intend to craft them

#

So I put 4 bins away and brought out 4 essence bins in place of it

#

All it requires is adjusting.

I think its great its so high… T13 isn’t for everyone, but for the ones playing 3 years its easy. Remember you can always buy T13 from the market… this game is amazing!

ohhh well, lv70 are still pretty new to the game. You are just not ready yet, and don't push yourself to hard. Just keep your own steady step to grow up and find a decent way to embrace new update.

Thank you for the suggestions and encouragement some of you helpfully made.
I didn’t think of ditching oil, for example. And yes I think I could focus on making money more effectively because I certainly don’t make 2.5G while eating breakfast.
Interesting how a couple of you responded to my post by being arrogant rude arseholes. That’s life I suppose. A tiny minority are always going to be nasty, even within a forum of a community game.

Sucks a bit about bounties but there definitely are still some 3 trophies craft t12 bounties, granted t13 ones are way more abundant.

Also, you might only need something like two essence bins once they're leveled up. Usage is pretty slow and worker visits last a while. Granted while the bins are low lvl it's easy to struggle with essence.

NGL, I'm finding myself running out of jewels and ether more often since I got the lv15 essence bin from offer and rushed 2 more to lv10. Single worker visit is something like 14 t13s worth of essence. Probably just going to run 2 lv15 ones in the end.
Also, what others said, new resource pairings let you stash away fair few bins.

#

For instance, when we look at t2 resources
3 base. 1 chest, 3 prem bps use ironwood
1 base, 1 chest, 1 prem uses fabric
1 base, 1 prem bp for oil
1 base, 1 prem for steel

So it's really easy to stash steel, fabric and/or oil and barely even notice the lack of them.

I think the question some of us are wondering is why do you think at level 70 you were considering a high level end game player? What is your invest? How much gold can you make in 1 day? Cause to be honest I am a vet of this game and I would not consider level 70 endgame. That’s most likely why you got responses that you didn’t like cause people were just trying to express that level 70 is not endgame. How much energy do you have? Do you have all 9 expansions? I mean in the end there is a lot to this game and it’s more then just level so your best bet is to just keep crafting and making gold cause we all started somewhere.

Yeah, lvl alone isn't a great measure of how far in the game you are. Also, unlocking t13 bps before you can comfortably unlock the dungeon for them definitely wasn't the way to go.

Oh, and you mentioned event scores, well, good news, nothing changed about them, you should still perform same as you did before. They did mention new lcog but that's purely based on heroes so your crafting and ability to make gold and do bounties definitely won't affect it

I agree the bounty aspect sucks if you end up triggering higher tier bounties, I had a similar problem when T12 bounties appeared as I couldn't fuse or access sigils easily other than the market. This lead to me having a drop in weekly bounty contributions.

Other than that, the rest shouldn't impact you if you don't want to interact with it - as ash said, your event scores should be unaffected, you don't have to craft T13 if you're not able or ready to, and the dungeon can be a goal to work towards.

I'm sure people will be happy to provide suggestions in the relevant channels on how you can save up the gold for the dungeon and provide suggestions regarding your shop layout to optimise your bins. 😁

This exchange has taught me so much about gamers. My teenage son thinks it’s hilarious.
To me, an end game player is one who has unlocked everything and has no new content to explore- that, to me, is being at the end of the game. New content sets you back from that so I was hacked off.
My son has now explained that “End Game Player” is a different thing. That’s a title for those who feel they know it all and who have mastered every strategy and technique and are twiddling in game mechanics to find new angles by which to be awesome. Those who feel they are one get very arsey with others who pretend to be one.
So yes, I am not an End Game Player. I am a player who thought she’d reached the end of the game and could cruise in the easy zone enjoying those calm waters, mastering blueprints and tweaking hero skills. And I upset all the genuine End Game Players by misusing their title. I upset them so much they roasted me rather than simply giving advice or scrolling on.
Lesson learned 😂
