Making people who put up a request have to include the price of the tax in their request is not a good way to do things. There is no incentive for players to fulfill a request if they can just create an offer, and get the exact same amount of money for doing so. Far less clicking is involved in simply making an offer, and then it's completely a matter of chance, or bots poised to buy up those items for players who want these hot commodity items.
I had hoped that when this bug fix was applied we'd see a return to being able to actually request things at 10x value, and pay the tax separately so that players would have an actual incentive to FILL requests.
